Just got banned for exploit
Before you folks start your witch hunt, Yes this is an alt. Nor do i deny doing some exploits. But seriously, i do not think a Permanent ban for going under the map on frontier is warranted, nor reasonable.

This is putting me in the same camps as people who cheat with external programs and botters.. This is just me glitching the game on a map that should've been fixed years ago.

And how do i know this is what caused the ban? well this is the first time in about 6 months that ive actually started up tf2 and played. So it can only be what caused the ban.

Prove myself not guilty of what? exploits. I've already admitted I abused a bug. I just dont think a permanent ban and losing my steam inventory is reasonable. i did not and have never used external software to modify the game.

you're better off talking about it with steam support, no one here can really do much

you're better off talking about it with steam support, no one here can really do much

I did contact support a couple of hours ago, and we'll see where that goes. Safe to say i wont intentionally abuse bugs and exploits in the feature

Sounds like you were often disrupting enough games to warrant it. How does posting this on the forum help?

i did it in like 3 games, over an hour. And why i wanted to have a discussion on this is because i don't think the punishment is reasonable in any shape or form. Give me a warning, matchmaking ban for a couple of weeks, months even. But permanently forever? for abusing a bug seems extremely unreasonable.

I dont think other online games give you a warning. They just ban you outright too.

Yea i just got a reply from steam support, They just dont give a ♥♥♥♥.

There we have it folks, Using external software like aimbots, or mass botting and destroying servers. Is treated exactly the same as abusing a bug on a map.
