Hey, I think we've found out what the problem was and already fixed it.
You just need to update the game.
You can force the update by locating Beholder in you library, then click Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache...

We need to clarify some things here:
1. Did you change keys during the gameplay or from the main menu?
2. Is there any chance you also switched some video settings?
Also, it would be great to have a screenshot of the 'blurry' screen.
