Desert Eagle Stopped Firing
I was under the water and tried shooting a grate, there was a click sound and then when I tried firing out of the water it won't work. The other weapons work though

Exactly. Also since the other guns don't get jammed, it is straight up a bug.

It's a bug that's existed for 20 years, but it was allegedly fixed in the recent patch. If you still experience it, load an older save. There's no way to get the desert eagle to ever start firing again if you get hit by this bug.

Well, it was fixed before they put the game on steam, so... The latest set of small patches said it was fixed, and I've been able to go into water, misfire it, and then it still works on land, so it must be partially fixed, at least.

Still kinda funny the bug is around 20 years later.

Just started playing this for the first time, and the bug is still in the game. I had to look up what was going on and found this thread, So they didn't fix it yet, at least completely.

Why nobody want to ask "why did you tryed to shot a deseart eagle underwater in the first place?"

That is not a glock.

I say this because the idea is so silly to me that I never noticed this bug XD

Not everyone knows stuff about guns. I thought it was silly that the glock fired underwater, so I figured the deagle would be able to too. This is a completely unacceptable bug and it legit ruined my enjoyment of the game.

it happened on my first play threw and totally threw me off. ill just pretend its broken and work with my current arsenal, its a real shame tho, that monster of a pistol served me well.

Yeah, you can tell that Gearbox really doesn't care about this game or the other HL1 expansions.
