Got the game free on Epic. A couple of friends and I downloaded the game. Can't host or join an online game. Game just stops reacting to inputs when you try. If you run the game directly from the EXE it's still unable to host or join but it allows you to exit the dialogue window that shows the error. Slight progress. Tried adding it to Steam didn't work. Adding all the EXE's to Windows Firewall didn't work. Running as an administrator didn't work. ONline play on Epic is completely broken. Any fix or plans ...

The first is that, for some reason, the game will not let me open unidentified presents, or use the Boom Box even if it IS identified. The other is that whenever my character jumps off the current level or is knocked off it by an earthling, the game just hangs instead of transitioning to the lower level. Are these common bugs? Or perhaps unique to the EGS version? Or introduced in today's patch? I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it did nothing to fix these issues....

I've never played the first games, but i've seen them in videos and heard of them, but when i see those and even this I'm curious what's appealing about it, like what's the gameplay loop about, where does the challenge come from (if any), what's the fun factor?...

So i have been trying for a little while to get into a friends game, or to host the game. I start up the game, go to level 1 and wait. I have tried to stay at the character select screen and wait, and so have they. Nothing. I have zero games open when i go to the online menu, I can't just invite her to my game, they can't invite me to theirs either. Is there something wrong with the online portion of the game?
