PTR and PRODUCTION versions of the game

What’s PTR?

CarX Drift Racing has a number of valid versions:

PROD- It’s the main and the most stable version of the game being the only so well tested.
old version 1.9- It’s the older version good for slower PCs. It has simplified graphics and we don’t update it anymore.
PTR- It’s a version used to run tests. That’s important! This version was built to test updates of the key branch and may not be stable. Updated frequently.
PTR 1.9- That is an unstable copy for weaker PCs. It was built to test updates of the old version 1.9 branch.

Why do we need PTR?

Before we bring another update we upload all content into the PTR version to test it for stability. When the tests are over, we upload it to the main servers.

PTR activation.

To choose your version of the game:
Go to the Steam library
Right click on CarX Drift Racing Online
Choose “Info \ Properties”
Go to “BETAS”
Choose the necessary version

Что такое PTR?

В игре CarX Drift Racing существует несколько актуальных версий игры:

PROD- Основная версия игры, максимально стабильная, и проверенная.
old version 1.9- Версия игры для слабых ПК, c упрощенной графикой. Не обновляется
PTR- Версия для тестирования.Важно! Данная сборка создана для тестирования обновлений основной ветки, и может работать нестабильно. Возможны частые обновления.
PTR 1.9- Нестабильная копия сборки для слабых ПК, для тестирования обновлений ветки old version 1.9

Для чего нам нужен PTR?

Перед основным обновлением весь новый контент загружается на PTR версию, для тестирования стабильности, а далее, после тестирования на основные сервера.

Активация PTR

Для выбора версии игры вам нужно:
Зайти в библиотеку Steam
Кликнуть правой кнопкой по CarX Drift Racing Online
Выбрать свойства
Перейти во вкладку БЕТА-ВЕРСИИ
Выбрать необходимую версию.

the 'live version' right new is called latest version pre release, use that one thats the latest version thats open to everyone for normal use, the current version.

just the normal version u are on when u download the game is good enoguh, the others are just for testing the stuff beforre it gets released

Exit Logitech g hub. Someone told me that and it worked for me. Hopefully that’s your case too

Hey ♕ EVGESEY ♕! Are you really listening? User's opinion. As usual, the server is oversized garbage, and it freezes every time another user comes in. What kind of garbage server are you using? What is that garbage screen after setting and test running? Every time I mess with the setting items, it freezes. What kind of program are you writing? Emulate ETS2? YOU are so many things to do before releasing a new game, right?

It was better for a while after it was released. However, with the update in the last few months, the operation became unnecessarily heavy, unstable, and unpleasant freezes and server errors began to occur frequently, and it became completely garbage. EA's Need for Speed MOST WANTED released in 2012 is still several times better game
