Game not working

The menu world but when I start a game it's says to press A(comtroller), F, and 1 but no matter what I press nobody can join the game I have just got the game and hasn't worked for like a day and am considering a refund I would really like some help to get my game working...

I got an email saying to make sure to launch the game within 24 hours to keep it permanently. I did but it hasn't added +1 onto my game collection. Is something wrong?

I don't want to lose access to the game after these 24 hours, so just checking if I did something wrong here. Thanks :)
