I am unable to switch weapons. I was using umbrella at first. So switching did work. I just picked up daggers. Now it wont change from the sword.

In regards to the game crash on startup - I started experiencing this recently, although the game was working fine the day before. Launching the game causes a brief window to appear, seemingly a Unity crash report of some kind (seems to show the protagonist Crow with a red exclamation mark next to them), then the game just fails to start. Like I said this was not an issue the other day, and I have made no changes to hardware or software between the game working and now crashing every time. I have tried reinstalling the game and restarting my PC, as well as verifying game files, to no avail. I'd be happy to aid in isolating whatever bug is causing this crash.

Would you be able to go to this folder:
And then email the SAVEDATA folder along with the config.xml and Player.log to me (contact@acidnerve.com)

Any news regarding achievements not working? I know I should have definitely got some of them... But I'm still at 0 achievements unlocked. This has been experienced by other players too.

I'm having a slightly differnet issue. Whenever I start the game it starts up fine, then there's this weird debug menu in the top left that says Special K etc etc etc. Then if I try do anything I get the windows error "This program is not responding, close program or wait". The music continues to play in the background but I can't do anything...

I tried the above options to fix the stutter but didnt work. I eventually set my vsync to fast || low latency mode to ultra || Max frame rate to 60FPS || in the NVidia control panel and this seems to have fixed the issue now.

OK I fixed this by running as admin direct from the game folder - rather than through steam. Hopefully that's helpful to someone!

Key disappearing after saving and closing game went to continue today but I am hardlocked because I no longer have the key I logged out with and cannot continue the game is there anyway to get another key?

Achievements should be working, they're fine for us and many people are registering them online.
It could be something to do with your setup, from some reading online possibly affected if you use VPN or some people said playing with discord open (though I have discord open and it's fine for me).
One thing to try would be restarting steam or restarting your computer and then playing the game if you've not tried that yet - the achievements are stored in the save files so any you've got while "offline" will still be saved and should re-sync with steam when you get to the title screen. Let me know if it's still an issue, is the steam overlay etc is working for you in game?

That sounds strange, if you have the key and it's not in its collectable location it should be in your "inventory". Could you send me your save file (contact@acidnerve.com), save files can be found at:

(Crash at Startup) This occurred for me after playing the game for 10 minutes, in that time I changed the resolution and toggled off fullscreen mode. Now I get the crash manager flashing on my screen for a split second when I go to load up.

I was able to boot up the game the first time just to see if things were running properly and everything was fine. Couple hours later when I decided to play, the game would refuse to open. I used a different computer, which then I was able to play the game no problem.

I'd like to add that I also fiddled with the resolution and fullscreen modes for my first working session with the game, which makes me think this might be a likely cause for the crashes.

The 1st time installing the game I was able to play but there after it will not start up(from steam page or icon on desktop). I’ve verified and reinstalled the game twice. The only way the game starts up if I go into the folder and start it from the .exe file

There is also a game freeze where if you talk to Barb the Bard after returning Mum's horn.
