Try to do this:
WINDOWS KEY + R -> Type in "%localappdata%" (without quotes)
go to Unreal Engine\Engine\Config
And delete UserEngine.ini

Yeah, that helped and solved it :) That file existed, deleted it. Now it´s running fine.

It should be in C:\Users\<SystemName>\AppData\Local\Terminator\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

You may have to enable hidden folders[support.microsoft.com] to see it.

i dont have userengine any suggestions

Had to delete the entire local folders for Unreal Engine and Terminator in order to resolve this same problem. Could not find a UserEngine.ini even while viewing hidden files. Works now though!

I had a similar problem!
In the game settings, I accidentally turned on the "FidelityFX"(AMD) option on my NVidia GForce video card.
After that, the game crashes. "LowLevelFatalError.....etc".
The problem was solved quickly:
Go to folder: C:\Users\..\AppData\Local\Terminator\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
- Open.
- Find and change the lines:
...
bFXFidelity=True (change "True" to "False")
FidelityFX=1 (change "1" to "0")

Save...

my error line is 3934. also fatal error crash :/
all the solutions above don't work.
non of the above mentionend files are in my directory.
the fidelity stuff mentioned is turned off by default.
was able to play the first mission but on the following cutscene (which is also the loading entry point for the game where it now starts when pressing contionue) now it just shows the fatal error while cutscene is playing.

also I am not sure what yeggbot mnent by "he had to delete the entire local folders."
did he mean the full terminator and the unreal engine folder ?
I mean I cant just delete all the stuff in there I guess.

any other suggestions?

any help is highly appreciated

immediate update: got it to run again by having integrity of gamefiles verified via steam. but at the end off the day not sure what was reset in the inis and will occur again sooner or later.

Yes it did help, but the file name just engine.ini

This helped in my case

I am having the same problem but on the Steamdeck. The game ran fine - finished it, bought the DLC and 1 Hour in this happened and it keeps happening ever since.
