Automatically adjust frame generation?
I feel like there should be an "automatic" or "refresh rate" option for frame generation. So for example if you have a 180hz monitor and your game was running at 60 FPS, this setting would automatically set the mode to x3 because 60 x 3 = 180 FPS. But if the game started running at 90 FPS, it would change to x2 because 90 x 2 = 180 FPS.

Basically this would allow you to "set it and forget it" for most cases. Rarely would I not want to scale up to my refresh rate, and in those rare cases I'd be fine with changing the mode manually.

i wish this was a possible feature as well but i can imagine this would create an issue with frame pacing. regardless would be excellent if it was a possible addition to the program.

its unnecessary, because you ought to choose your base fps to cap yourself. one uses 60 fps, others use 30 or 45.

I could see it having a niche use case for games where some sections are hard capped to a different framerate. Like say, a game where cutscenes are only 30 FPS while gameplay is still 60.
