Using LS on Flight SImulator 2024 with a 8GB VRAM GPU
Hello,
I'm quite undecided if buying this software, I use Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on a RTX 2070 with 8GB of VRAM, normally I get between 30 and 60fps (I locked it to get 60fps max) with an average around 42fps, I've also tried the frame generation .dll hack but while it makes everything smooth, I often get just too much flickering/artifacts on the cockpit to make it usable and I suspect it's due to the fact that Nvidia frame generation uses lot of VRAM.

Would Lossless Scaling be different and actually help without getting all that flickering or it's useless on a GPU with 8GB of VRAM?

Would have posted on the main forum but apparently it's reserved to people who already own the program.

I use LS for FS2020 with a 22fps cap (I'm very CPU-limited) and I can't complain about image quality with an up to x5 framegen. It's worth to try it with your 2070 and medium texture setting to save some VRAM, because LS also needs some VRAM (and GPU power) to do its jobs.

Another thing I was wondering is...would this work on a multi monitor setup?
I set Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to use my second monitor as a second fulllscreen window to have the left side view inside the cockpit, but I set that window to 1920x1080 because I don't need much resolution there, it's more for reference and spacial awareness, especially when doing the circuit around airports, my main display instead is set to 2560x1440.
