Dota 2 Casting and eSports Community

We're a group of passionate gamers fronted by a team of Casters who stream LIVE tournaments every week (usually every day!).

We want to promote eSports and bring entertaining and informative commentary to our viewers. We aim to connect gamers from all around the world, organise gaming events and provide resources for people to achieve their goals in the gaming world.

We've started by putting together a Casting Starterpack for those who wish to follow in our footsteps and commentate LIVE competitive Dota 2 matches. The pack includes a Casting Manual, Directions for setting up Broadcasting Software and a Twitch account, as well as custom graphics used only by 4states and our affiliates.

The Starterpack is still in its creation phase, but those who wish to find out more can express their interest by sending us an email at 4statescasting@gmail.com

We have many other projects and events in the pipeline including LAN events and tournaments, as well as In-House Lobby matches between viewers and Casters.

Dota Sunday is here!

Happy Dota Sunday Woot! I hope everyone is excited about today as we are here at 4States. Not only do we have the regular sunday Royal, featuring the amazing amazonian all girl team who will be punching on for glory, Mini games like Mirana Dodgeball and Fat man hook, team matches for all levels and coaching games for newcomers But 4states will also be casting the Defence of the Aussies Tournament strait after the Royal… so much Dota2 !!!

Because Today will be so huge, we are starting at 4pm Australian EST. So jump in and have some fun and remeber to tune into www.twitch.tv/4states for Live coverage of The Defence of the Australians.

Easy like Sunday evening

Hey Guys, Rock here from 4states.

Well I think we all agree that last Sunday’s Noob Royal was quite possibly a defining moment in the history of mankind….So we’re doing it again and every sunday if possible.

We had great feedback, all involved had a bunch of fun and many of the players really enjoyed being broadcast to the world. And Dam we enjoyed commentating it! We also realised that this was a great chance to develop our Gaming community here in Australia and New Zealand.

We really enjoyed teaming up with ZLB (zombies love bacon) and there is even word that members of Southern Cross Casting might join in on the fun. We also had a great time casting an almost all Lady mega team, which featured a newbie on mirana who played better than I ever could...sigh.

So we realised that Sunday afternoon is Dota2 arvo-noon and we want everyone to get involved. We’re open to any ideas, so just hit us up. If you want to give your team a run, or set up a grudge match against your evil twin that will be broadcasted and commentated or maybe just want to try Dota2 for the first time in our Newbs and Coaches games…. SUNDAY IS DOTA2-DAY.

So jump on any sunday arv and have some fun.
