Welcome To Natural Selection 2 Officer Training

Natural Selection 2 Officer Training is a group dedicated to the training of new members and growth of the Natural Selection 2 community.

Too often do new players purchase this game due to a sale and find themselves playing in games not knowing what do to. The result of this is you have people mad at you or angry with your performance. Then, when you ask for help it's hit and miss on weather or not you actually get any. This discourages players and causes many people to quit the game altogether.

We are here to change that!

We hope to creat an open forum where you can get legitimate information about the game, how to play, strategies, practice sessions, understanding reasonings behind decisions, and how to make the game changing calls without being told how much of a noob you are.

Although you are new, we will help you to one day command your own games, play with confidence, and more importantly enjoy the game.

Having Trouble Aiming?

Missing bites as an alien? Run out of bullets and can't quite hit that skulk with your axe? Maybe you just miss like a boss.

If you are having trouble aiming there is a quick mod that you can get for Natural Selection 2 through the steam workshop that will definitely help you out: "Simple Dot Crosshair + Melee Weapons"

How to get it (for those who dont know)
--------------------------------------------------------
1. Select your Natural Selection 2 Game.
2. Lower on that page click on "Browse The Workshop"
3. Search for "Simple Dot Crosshair + Melee Weapons"
4. Click subscribe (A quick download starts, its pretty fast you'll probably miss it)
5. Launch Natural Selection 2
6. Select Mods on the main Natural Selection 2 screen
7. At the bottom of the list will be your "Simple Dot Crosshair + Melee Weapons" mod.
8. Make sure it is activated (It should say yes)
if not then click it to toggle it to yes
9. Click restart and restart your Natural Selection 2

You should be good to go.
