Well, the last few days weeks have been funny, right? Messing around to find out why the server has been gone nuts, and then finding out it was a software issue with my server host. Whatever.

I made my first Undertale Hale, Papyrus. Thanks to Litronom for allowing me to use his Papyrus Model. Maybe there will be other Undertale Hales soon. Litronom made a Sans Model already (that guy is seriously fast).

Now just some questions:
About Alice's Minions, would you like to see the bumpercars back as her rage? Do you want the minions to stay? Or would you like a combination of both?

Some people are actually saying they would like to see a Sans boss, other people are saying they don't. I would like to have your input on this.

What Hales from the old Server(s) would like to have back soon?

Or, as usual, what would you like to see be changed/added in future?

The latest Team Fortress update killed the server, hurray! And because it is Valve, I have no clue why because it happens before it even is writing into the log files, yay!

I already said I deleted the backup by accident. Turns out it doesn't matter because a slightly older backup doesn't work too.

This means I have to install the server from scratch. This also means that it will take some time because I am busy today (hurray -.-) and because I have to upload everything step by step.

I hope this will fix the instablility of the server.

If you look at the player count you probably can tell that the concept of Touhou Hale failed. Judging by the response to the beta test and the event about the end of my FF2 server, I noticed that alot of people in this group say they care about it, but really don't in the end. Since I don't want to scrap it yet and I also want to reach a bigger base, I decided to scrap the "Touhou only Theme" and work on not-Touhou related Bosses too. Basically the same thing Chdata does, just in the reverse direction. I also thinking about adding another Server with a complete different topic. Write a comment about what you would like to see.

Over the last month, I noticed alot of people talking about this topic. I also noticed that some people have been saying that I going a completely wrong way with hosting Touhou Hale in Europe. I only can say one thing about this: This is my server and I won't even think about changing the location to somewhere else for a few people. If you do not want to play on my Server because of its location, feel free to leave. There are other servers with a touhou theme like Chdata's Server in the USA and its latest group "TouhouData ( http://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/groups/2hudata )" or the Korean Touhou Hale Server ( http://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/groups/Th2hale2 ), the "not so happy about Night Rose" group that allowed me to use a few models for Night Rose (and I still didn't managed to upload them all, horray).

If you still read this, that probably means you are still interested in participating on Night Rose's servers. I try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, but I cannot break my own neck for this. I am happy about everyone that joins the server. This does not work if everyone stays away and complains that the server is empty. If you want to help to fill it, join it. Even if you stay in spectator mode you already helping attract more people to join. This is also the reason I do not care about how many members the Steamgroup has. We have 309 members right now and only ~ 20 active ones.

I will keep this short. I want to test another server in a new location. I also want to know if your ping will improve or not. And I also want to test the stability of the new server since we all know the current ones I am using for Night Rose are a disaster.

The "event" will start Saturday around 12:00:01 (or is it 00:00:01?) P.M Washington, D.C. time. I will host a vanilla server and I will post the IP address when the event starts, so check the event tab in the Night Rose group.

I hope you will fill the server (it only has 16 slots)! As more players around the world are here, the better I can check the things I want to know.

You probably noticed that I am on my development server often in the last few days. The current workflow is fine to me and everything is working as excepted (which is a surprise to me, since this never happend before xD). My current plan is to add at least 7 Bosses from Touhou Hale (rebalanced and maybe with a new rage) and then make it public for all. I always compare VSH and FF2 development and VSH is not very complicated. As soon as I got used to the work flow, I had even more fun developing VSH bosses than developing FF2 bosses.

To explain this: FF2 has 2 bases: The Plugin itself as a core and the subplugins for rages etc. That means to connect these to things you needs to create functions that call these plugins. This is horrible and does not always work or causes too many bugs. VSH has EVERYTHING in it. This may sounds like it will be a big chaos, but who will really touch implemented stuff again as soon as it is implemented? I rarely touch these things and when I do it, it is only to fix issues. Compared to the Sourcecode, VSH is better written than FF2 again.

Anyways, as you may can already think of, some things will be different, so here is a little list (this may change in near future):

• /ff2boss is now /setboss.
  
• /setboss now remembers your choise even after you have been that hale and after mapchange
  
• Super Jump is now smoother.
  
• DEV: Less limitation when it comes to very special Hales (for example Rumia)
  
• DEV: Only the needed things are called

• Added Update Server. Server will now copy updates from this one. (Lowering the traffic :3). [Will be enabled again if I run more than 1 tf2 server on the same machine.]
  
• Set new rates on the server.
  
• Copied Server to a second host to test stability (thats the development server now).

Maintaining two servers is hard and I decided to let the FF2 server as it is and I will not update it anymore (there actually over 30 updates I would have to implement because I use a modified version of FF2) since it will be scrapped anyways.

You are probably asking yourself it you can participate in this beta. And yes, you can. On the other hand, I will make a playtime as soon as I have some more Hales in VSH. You can always join:
