Sir Nukesalot can fire only one nuke, and has a long reload time, if the other team has a good pyro, they can easly take down his nukes, making this giant weak without teammates around.
The nukes have also a long fuse time, giving you enough time to avoid them.
Next time you are against this giant, try to play as pyro and take down his nuke you'll see it's really easy to make him weak if his team isn't around.
You can also try the engie with the short-circuit, and zap his nuke, but it will come with a big metal penalty, so you better have a dispenser around to zap all of his nukes.
Nukes are destroying your team? Counter with the Pyro!
Pyros have shut down the best source of damage from your team? Keep the Heavy around him!
Heavies killing your actually very important Pyro? Snipe them! Backstab them! Shoot explosives! Which, in turn, could all be countered by the Scout.
It's a matter of one team attempting to outcounter the other one. One team is protecting a giant, the other team is protecting Pyros, which, in turn, protect everyone else.
