We know we spelled Roguelikes wrong

Covering roguelikes on steam. Not rogue likelikes, rogue lites or anything like that. You won't find "bind ing of Is aac" or "eff tee el" or "telly glitch" or "Ro gue Leg acy" here. (Deliberately messed titles up so search won't bring people here).

Our basic definition is: turn-based, grid-based, top-down, monsters, stats and loot. We know it when we see it! There can be elements of persistance but not too much. This is one thing we are fairly flexible on. Dungeons at least have to be random!

Some roguelikes in the NEXT FEST

Here's some roguelikes we found in the "Steam Next Fest" that have demos. There's only a day or so left to pick the demos up so you might want to get on that while simultaneously cursing us for alerting you to them this late.

Undergrave is kind of basic but fun. Blacken Slash has diablo style loot and is simplified but fun. It's by the person that made Core Something which is a grid-based tower defence game.

Haven't tried the other two yet.
