how does one turn off pvp on the server?

I found no solutions and saw some posts mentionning that my french copy might be the cause.

Is there really no fix?

When i try to connect through the server browser the connect button is greyed out.

While the server is offline, remove the kill counts for the dead ashlanders from your server/data/world/world.json

Make a backup of the file first.

so I'm playing tes3mp with my friends and some IDIOT killed one of the ahemmusa ashlanders and it's messed up the mage guild quest and i think the main quest for us. is there some console command way to undo this? I see there is an independent quest for the kill condition called "B2_AhemmusaKill" that adds "I have slain an Ahemmusa Ashlander. Now it will be impossible to have friendly dealings with them or their leaders." to the journal and I guess the hostility to the ashlanders. Now unlike normal quests with stages to switch through this one only has 1, so it seems like a binary, but Journal, "B2_AhemmusaKill" 0 didn't do anything because there is no "stage 0". can I somehow remove it and the hostility altogether?

Hello every, I am wanting to either start or join a Active Morrowind Multiplayer server. I am wanting to stream my game-play on that Multiplayer Server as well. Trying to get as many people as possible on 1 server. I either want to join an active server or have a bunch of people available when I launch a new server. PM me, I am sure there will be opportunity for new people to join the server.

whenever i host a server with hamachi, my friend gets a error that says something like
"sendto -1" something along that line. anyways if you guys could help me find out whats causing this so we can play would be great

Basically, exactly as you said. Mlox and OpenMW don't effect each other. OpenMW isn't a plugin, it's an engine replacement. Mlox sorts plugins. Using them together doesn't cause any problems is what I meant. The way you install plugins doesn't change.

So how does that work since open morrowind doesn't install any plugins to the morrowind directory.

This may not be the right place to ask this but not sure where else to but. Does MLOX work with open Morrowind.

Yeah it was extremely odd, we never figured it out. After clearing the cell name from the list of cell jsons, it worked correctly. It was customly named too.

@2cwldys don't know why you'd fall through the floor, but it's easy enough to change the spawn.

That happened to us a lot at DoR if we updated the mod ESP we used in any way, caused us to fall through the floor and we'd have to reset the cell.. doesn't sound that major though in @Sevrick's case.

I assume it's because you're using a mod that places a house there, probably Morrowind Rebirth from the sound of it.

Thanks that worked. Only problem was I spawned inside a building space but was able open the door from the other side.

It looks like it doesn't have the file permissions necessary to create a JSON file for your character. Try running the server as an administrator.

but it loads up with the mods then crashes after I have made my character. I checked the client to see what happened and it said

I would check the FAQ section on this steam community forum as well. Does your tes3mp-client-default.cfg specify this as:

destinationAddress = localhost
port = 25565

?

Also, it seems that im unable to join myself. i get the same error. "ip adress is wrong or the firewall on either computer is blocking it"

Not sure how you'd prevent it, but kicking and/or banning when it happens are always an option. Then you just have to clean up their mess. Should also make a note of their name and IP etc. so they can be added to the blacklist. Also make sure you've got a password or test locally without broadcasting the server to the masterlist.

Or why bother cheating? Morrowind is not a competitive game. It's best explored/shared with friends, not randos.
