I like the overall look and feel of the game. It felt like a quality product even when it was new. But it hasn't that much content and there is no reason to play it further once you have built everything. They should make it a viable choice to let you travel around once you built yourself a float and stuff...

Great team shooter. Very adult community. Give this game a chance! You will be able to enjoy it even on public servers!

I like Pirates! but Civilization is boring as hell. Make a new Pirates! please.

A great game but a mediocre at best remake.

Guybrush looks better in this remake than he did in the remake of MI but I still think they should have added translated voice output.

When Sid Meier's Pirates! came out in 2005 it was a great remake and a great game by itself.

However, i cannot recommend it anymore. The graphics are still not too shabby and the game itself is great but you cannot select widescreen resolutions in the menu and so you will end up with a 4:3 windowed game.
Even worse is that the game sometimes has some problems with controls. Numblock won't work then.

I would really like to see the developers adding widescreen resolutions and real Windows 7/8/10 compatibility and a fix for the numpad problem. Up until then the 1987 PIRATES! GOLD will work with less hassle than this game.

This episodes format does not work for me. I want a game with a (connected) story like Blood Money.

Having said that. This objectively is a good stealth game. There is a background story but it isn't as prominent as in previous Hitman games.

The quality of the episodes is alternating but on a somewhat high level. I like them - even though the only one that really stands out is the second one.

However, the controls (e.g. the inventory) still feel kind of odd. Way worse than in Blood Money. It feels like a bad console port in this regard.

tl;dr: Better than Absolution but still not great. If you like Hitman this is a viable choice though.

Still a great game.
