Id say its like an 8/10
A lot of the systems are engaging and fun, but at the same time one of the main focuses of the game. That being the politics/council system, feels very... whatever.
Its not bad, but its not very deep, most of the 'politicking' is just clicking a button and passing laws that are just better than the other and inevitably pissing someone off. Which some polish or mods the council system could be utterly amazing, but its far too shallow.
The main story is far less interesting than the first game, but its still a very good read and playthrough

Although, I really do feel like the game lacks the soul of the first game. Which I understand was the devs idea, they wanted to widen the scope. But widening the scope feels like it sucked the wind out of the sails of what made the setting so engaging. its still engaging in its own right, but now it almost feels like a different setting

Overall, though. its really good, and with the addition of an actual modding kit I can't wait to see what people make.

Just play DBD

The game has a lack of feedback, on like... anything? Hits just whiff in the air but you hit them for real.
No real tutorial.

Playing as monster is a headache, people can just drop doors on you and its hard to deal with generally. Its not like a pallet in DBD they drop it, you break it. That asset is done.
They can just loop around the door if the map allows it and it can be extremely difficult to deal with.

Tons of spots where monsters just strain to catch up to specialists.
It honest to god makes me realize that DBD, aint that bad

The bit i've played, will update as I keep playing mind you, it was kinda neat. I loved the art, the fact that it is unabashedly star blazers is amazing. But the controls, the UI, the bugs left a lot to be desired.

The camera freaking out when you get to the edges of floors, or if you pan between floors to fast. The building room UI feeling a bit awkward and clunky, being unable to click objects youve put in rooms, etc etc.
Its great, thus far I feel the amazing potential behind this.
But I really hope they tune some of this stuff up, cause at least personally I found it mad awkward.

Best game best game

Late as ♥♥♥♥ on writing this, but I waited 10 years for a glorified cookie clicker game. First two DLCs suck nuts, and the others slated seem like ♥♥♥♥ in literal base Vic 2.
Absolutely abyssmal

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks knight is broken as ♥♥♥♥

Absolutely amazing game. Was a bit a of a roller coaster in terms of how it made me feel but those 4 hours went by in the blink of an eye.

This game ruined me emotionally, I have never felt so much agony in my heart from any piece of media in my life. I would recommend it wholeheartedly despite how it destroyed my heart.
Genuinely one of the best indie games i've ever played. Hell, it might even be one the best games i've ever played. I will never forget this game.

Wish I really could give this game a mixed review, it's a lot of fun especially with a lot of the amazing mods but it lacks depth, and real staying power. I tend to jokingly call it a screensaver with World War 2 on it. I'd say wait for it to be on a sale before getting it, it's by no means a bad game but I don't think it's honestly worth forty dollars unless you love this genre and kind of game.
