Tutorial is bugged and I can't progress the game, stuck in the part where it asks you to set a marker on Manea. No matter how many times you clear and set it the damn thing won't progress so if you exit out the map you are stuck with an orange bar over your screen to open the map. Not to mention clicking on the mission next to Manea is bugged as well, you have to zoom entirely out before it will let you do anything

Game came out almost a decade ago, how is this not fixed

I was really enjoying this game and then I went to bed, when I started it up again my entire 2 hours of gameplay was completely lost and I had to start from the very beginning - many other reviews state the exact same thing

How is this still an issue almost a decade after release? It's a shame because the game is really fun and maybe I'll pick it back up when I'm not annoyed and just smash it out in a day but this is actually so disappointing

All the best cars ever made in one game, you can't beat it

Tokyo is beautiful, the cars even more so. The customisation is CRAZY, it's a JDM fans dream game

Final Fantasy 3 takes all the great things from the first game and the few good things from 2 and makes it bigger and better

Very similar main story beats to the first game however the quests and characters are a lot more fleshed out, you will meet several people that will tag along in your party for certain quests and will have extra lines of dialogue if you choose to speak with them

FF3 introduces the job system which is awesome, you can experiment with a new class whenever you want and switch on the fly. Sometimes you are forced to take a specific job for certain segments of the game but apart from those moments you are entirely free to play as you want, Dragoon, Devout and Ninja are my personal favourites

The final quarter of the game is brutal, loaded with many extremely tough bosses so your party composition matters greatly. Most of the game is pretty consistently paced so you don't need to grind as such but when you're getting close to the last set of crystals you will want to do some preparation or you're in for a frustrating time - I recommend lots and lots of shurikens for the final boss

They made a lazy, more expensive and worse version of Fallout 4. This genuinely feels like a solo modder's first pass to get the base game to work with their headset and test it out for their own amusement

The VR "additions" if you can even call them that are some of the worst I've ever seen in a VR game, for starters you will use every single weapon in the game like a pistol because basic features like using 2 hands are absent. Using a minigun one handed might sound cool but it feels awful, trying to aim a sniper with one hand just sucks. You can't reload your gun either, you just press a button and the animation plays on it's own. Even low budget VR shooters have manual reloading

Interaction with the game world is very minimal which goes against the appeal and immersion of virtual reality so the TLDR is all the goofing around with physics fun that typically comes with a VR experience is just missing here

If you are a very patient and dedicated modder, check out the FRIK mod and a few others and you'll be able to make the game into the product that Bethesda should've produced (including the ability to use both your hands, wild ideas that BGS can't even imagine). If not, do not bother as VR adds nothing to this game and honestly makes it worse - if you don't believe me there is a reason that only 60% of players have gotten the first achievement to enter the wasteland and only 23% have gotten to level 5 vs the 80% and 70% of the regular game

This game is just boring and not much of a challenge, normal difficulty is painfully easy and your health meter will barely drop as you go through missions with very little technical skill required

Loot isn't very exciting and mission decision is dull, locations aren't very diverse. In an age where you can get similar, much better games for free there's just no point spending $40 here

Brutal turned based strategy, this game is really tough especially in the early game so you may be attempting the first few missions a couple of times until your squad gets some upgrades - very rewarding to finally overcome the challenge

Don't get too attached to your squadmates because they might not leave the mission alive

If you thought Riptide was a DLC like I did when it was announced in 2012 you'd be easily forgiven as it uses all the same menus, graphics and combat of the first game and even includes the terribly slow awful feeling strafing

If you really loved the original game it's well worth the purchase however for literally a dollar more you can get Dying Light instead which is a much better playing and feeling game. Compared to it's successors there's not really anything this game does better so if you want to see the roots of how Techland went from Dead Island to Dying Light just play the original instead, the map and quests are better in the first game anyway and the slim additions from Riptide won't be missed
