Having played the Beta for the last week before "release," and then starting on the new wiped server - I can say that I have been having a lot of fun and the game is quite addictive especially beyond the tutorial and Homeland, once the politics really begins (usually a few irl days of development of your city).

That being said, it's a mobile style game and the released version has been almost exactly like the beta aside from a bigger map that needs to be unlocked through leveling anyway. The game is filled with "coming soon's" plus even some of the editors still say "Alpha." Lack of customization kinda unfortunate as well but its easy to get over.

"Do you need to spend money to develop and play and have fun? To be honest, no. But you are going to hit a wall and the game will become almost unbearable. Will it absolutely advance you forward if you sink money in, yes"

is what I said when first making my review. Having put much much more time in, and opening a discord to manage House Jupiter, a mostly PLAY 2 play alliance that was against the PAY 2 win players,but i've come to realize you really can't keep up as a play to play style. Enemies in the discord begging devs for sales so that they can level up and get boosts. Totally ruins the fun of what the game could actually be. I do have the utmost respect to all those who joined the Jupiter community to try and fight against, what is obvious now, a completely rigged system.

There's no reason why you should put thousands of hours into a game and get no real reward unless you put money in. Mars and the developers control the current server any new player would join. If you disagree with Mars or the devs, they remove you from the Official Discord. Martians will freely use multiple accounts and account share - and only SOME ever get bans. The Dux of Mars, the one reaping all the rewards of the server, was caught using an alt and received no penalty but that level <100 being removed only. Constant changes to the game to protect the pay to win player is ridiculous. These servers are dead and it has become a complete farmville sim. If you enjoy this then continue on. Otherwise don't even give this game a single thought. Firefly is over
