I've already poured an absurd amount of time into this game on Switch, I also just wanted to be able to play it on the bigger screen.

Just get it. It's insane value for $15 and you'll have a good time.

A game I actually have time to play (because it plays itself)

I got so sucked into the story that I played it for 11 hours straight and turned off my PC as the birds were chirping outside.

They fixed most of the stupid nonsense that shipped with the game on launch. If you can get it for $20 on sale, it's a great deal and provides the same enjoyable stuff from BF4 and BF3 of old, plus some new objective-based gameplay. Battle pass is totally optional, as are the cosmetics. That said, Battle Pass will run you about $20 in coins and you'll make around half of that back as you progress the pass. Up to you if that's worth your time, otherwise you can just progress the free track.

What sucks? UI is pretty busy with all the gadgets and abilities in game. There's not a real strong differentiation between "heroes" as opposed to class specializations. Unlocking weapon attachments takes a long time, but that's not too different than Battlefields of old.

Definitely worth a pick up nowadays if you're looking for a new shooter to play. Wait for it to go on sale, and toss the developers a few bucks in cosmetics or for the Battle Pass if you had a good time.

The absolute highest quality crack/cocaine money can buy. Lose some IRL friends, make new ones to do Raids/Dungeons with instead.

The game is a sandbox that lets the players figure out how to proceed. It's a lovely experiment in the vein of Secret Hitler, and I can't say enough good things.

It's like Dark Souls meets Left 4 Dead. The feeling of completing a section with your team is incredible. That said, you will need a team and you WILL need to communicate to win. Highly recommended!
