This game is without a doubt the most satisfying game that I have purchased on Steam. It's simple in it's controls, but complex in it's design. It doesn't take a ton of time to get used to the mechanics and get a hang of the game. It's problematic in that it's all I want to do now. I have completely lost days of my life to this game, and I have very few regrets. I would 100% recommend this product if you like strategy and a good value.

At first I felt bad about being maidenless in real life. Now I realize it's just because I'm a poor tarnished.

When I bought this game, I initially believed that I was purchasing Mordheim: City of the Damned. What I got instead was a pleasant surprise with one of the most fun, action packed Hack N' Slash games I've ever played! Definitely worth the money for an enjoyable foray into a world of rat slaying mayhem!

The amount of fun is unbelievable. I was a little hesistant at first, buying only because I had never really gotten too much into Super Smash Bro.s type games before. Without a doubt this is the most fun casually competitive game I've ever played. The balance between characters is mostly even and there's a very diverse way to play each fighter. It's still a little laggy at times and a little buggy here and there but the game itself is just constant excitement! Well worth buying, and with the new features coming along it'll be a fighting game ready to kick all other fighting games' asses.

The game is absolutely beautiful, there's no getting past that. Unfortunately the gameplay is nowhere near as amazing. The concept of summoning creatures through a percent that sways between order and chaos is definitely a nice touch, however, the game follows the consistent fad that many games are following now through the use of cards as a means of sorting skills and abilities. The game would be amazing, if the ability to actually build a deck how you wanted was an option. However I only dove a little less than 2 hours into the game, before I realized how much I really disliked it. The battle design for the game is very upsetting. There is no consistent way to fight the creatures you summon. In Chaos Reborn every battle is decided by fate. Creatures have very little chance of actually hitting the enemy, and with no health system, any lucky hit is guaranteed to kill. While you may be capable of amassing a small army of units, they can easily be wiped out through several lucky hits by your enemies, as well as several unlucky misses on your part. I understand the game is in Early Access currently, and I believed it had the potential to be something amazing, but it just doesnt stand up to the other Turn Based Strategy games on the market. It has a cool concept, and based on community output it seems to be doing rather well for most players, but I unfortunately could not dive in. If you're looking for an absolutely beautiful game, this will meet your desires. If you're looking for a fresh outlook on TBS games, you're in the right place. If you're looking for a game with balance, you're just not there yet. Maybe it'll get better later on, but for now, it's sub-par in design to the other games you could be purchasing.

For an Indie game this is very well done. It's got a good setting for a fun TBS game. The heat component is great for adding that little bit of extra tactics into your turn choices, and the tech tree is nicely spread out with lots of options to play the way you want to play. That being said, there are A LOT off little things that throw wrenches into the gameplay. The spawning system for enemies is very random. While they mostly spawn next to tiles that look like holes for skitterings to crawl out of, sometimes they spawn on the space directly next to you for absolutely no reason. Additionally, the leveling system takes a huge factor of risk vs reward out of the game, because every unit you recruit will automatically be the same level as the units you've had since the beginning. Units you don't bring into combat still level up, and the skill tree becomes a little washed out because of this. Basically you can lose your geared up Hydra by charging him ahead, and not have to worry because you can spend SP to get another one of the same level with no hassle. It's a shame, because if the game progressed a little more smoothly within the realm of Risk vs. Reward, it would be a 10/10. All together though, a wonderful little Indie game, Well worth the money, and well worth the time played. 8/10 would recommend.

Endless Legend is possibly the greatest 4x game I have ever played. Scratch that, it is the greatest 4x game I have ever played. It builds off of what we loved with Endless Space, with several other great games. It has a clean, Civilization feel, with a familiar Endless Space interface, and a battle system reminiscent of Heroes of Might and Magic. It's all together a clean, fresh take on a popular strategy market. Prepare to sink your teeth into this game and never let go!
