When I'm ready to record a song, I drive 71 miles to the nearest music store so I can use all their fancy instruments. One by one, I take the instruments I want to use off of their displays and bring them into the public restroom. I do the recording in the restroom because I like to take my shirt off and look at myself in the mirror while I'm recording. Once I'm ready to record an instrument, I open the voice recorder app on my 2005 hot pink Motorola Razr flip phone and do the recording. If one of the employees at the music store asks me what I'm doing, I just tell them it was an emergency and start crying a little and they usually leave me alone. Anyway once I have all of the instrument recordings done I go home and transfer each recording onto a separate 2007 Zune portable media player. Then I line up all the Zunes, and play all the recordings at the same time, and record all of them onto a DIFFERENT Motorola Razr, and that's how I mix my songs.
