There's no possible words to describe what I felt playing this game, it's just how I imagined HL1 was when I first played it, the enviroments, the tension, the enemies, explorating the depths of black mesa with your trusty flashlight and a bent iron were your best defense, and it was you against the world.

This game is an admirable work of love, expanding on as few things as it should, and improving pretty much everything else.

It's to my point of view a masterpiece of a remake of the original Half Life.


The only issue, XEN, It's gorgeous, the design of the world is much much better, and it makes all much more sense, however, a gameplay part that lasted 2 hours in the original, and were horribly boring, aren't much improved stretching them here for like 5-10 hours, while visuals make it more impressive, it's still very boring.

Honestly, let's be objective here, I played only 116 hours, but honestly, was worth every second, the game, as can be seen, has awesome graphics, has a fairly decent ammount of very high detailed ships, and a quite nice customization menu, From permanent upgrades, to captain skills, you can build your own ships, or capture them from the enemy.

The game itself, lacks features, lacks a lot of... stuff-to-do-while-you-aren't-murdering-people, if you are here for combat/trading 24/7 and enjoy this kind of ships, it's a worth to try game, but if you are expecting some complex stuff, you better calm and relax.

It's not a fast paced game, every movement you do must be thinked and makes the player have skill, and obviously to not play alone.

Good or bad, depends on the person, but this game does require you to play people, otherwise gets boring and WAY too slow, my recommendation, join an active clan, the battles I had with them have been incredibly fun, and honestly would keep doing it for MANY more hours.

Like I said, if you like sailship simulation, combat and trading, at a slow pace, this is your game, if you are looking for some INTENSE HIGH PACED STUFF, go back to call of duty or battlefield, this is not for you.
