Whilst it's not the best port It's 100% worth playing.

I have a few gripes that are as follows:

- The side quests can be a bit monotonous at times but the world building they provide is excellent.
- The level scaling leaves a bit to be desired in terms of difficulty as I found myself being able to one shot weaker enemies with a single eikonic ability.
- Weird lighting in the latter half of the game.
- A bit of immersion breaking with the timeline of side quests due to fast travel (nitpick)

However there is also a lot to love about this game which outweighs the cons:

- Interesting and satisfying combat that isn't too demanding on the players skills.
- Fantastic character writing that is well acted
- Jaw dropping set pieces and bosses
- A standout soundtrack with plenty of variety
- Beautifully constructed scenes and environments
- Relevant and engaging side content and DLC

Overall I'd give this game a 9/10. Definitely worth checking out.

One of the most interesting games ever made. Fun & engaging with plenty of quirk and character. A veritable masterpiece.

Whilst not the best re-release It's better than the original CD with the hex edit patch. However it might not work on all systems without some troubleshooting.

Would also highly recommend going through the recommended readings featured in The Sims game manual to enhance your experience.
