I've played this game for a while now, and I've enjoyed many of the seasons that came out with it. However, the Year 6, coupled with mounting audio bugs, made playing this game less and less tolerable. I may have returned to playing the game in Year five, and was thoroughly impressed with some of the new design choices they have made. However, as I played more and more, the initial awe turned to slight agitation, to outright disappointment. Despite this, I've continued to play this game until I could not handle it anymore.

I had my fair share of fun amidst the toxic playerbase I get tagged with. However, more often than not, the sound bugs - with addition of cheaters somehow getting into games and even playing with cheats on UNRANKED - kills my joy for this game. Not only that, but the sudden change to the Year six only made things worse. You can't buy the season pass to gain access to operators like you can back during Year five (and potentially far back), having to play the game to unlock exclusive contents makes playing the game feel like a chore, and with the previous issues listed, it completely eradicated "Fun" out of playing this.

Of course, this is my opinion about the game. If I do come back to playing this game again (which probably won't happen until potentially year seven and onward), then my opinion about this game might change (as well as the review).

For now however, I am very disappointed with this game.

I've bought Starbound whilst it was still in the oven... Now that I know that these scumbags weren't paying for their hard works, I regret buying this game.
As much as I love playing this game, if the guys who worked on these didn't got paid, I recommend everyone else to go pour your money on some other games.

This game is for you if you want a game to play with your friends. If you can bare through the grind in this game, you will see stuff that you might deem interesting or, hell, even amazing compared to other games you have played in the past. However, if you dislike ANY form of grindings, this game is not meant for you.

If you hear that WF is p2w, no it is not. You can easily farm materials and required materials to craft weapons that you will otherwise pay with premium currency. Actually, if you farm for these items within the relics, you can sell them for Plats, so you don't have to put actual money into this game if you REALLY don't want to waste money. The actual reason why you might pour money into this game is probably because fashions or skins. That's probably the only thing you will use your plats on, alongside with item slots.
