I want to love this game, and there's a lot I like about it. I'm a fan of difficult games and rage games, including the original jump king, and where this game falls flat is unfortunately completely unnecessary: The enemy spam. The bosses seem fun so far, and the platforming is very fun and rewarding. However. dealing with the hordes of common enemies just completely ruins the experience. Unlike the souls games where you can just run past the enemies when you have to re-traverse an area, you do not really get that opportunity in this game. The enemies have incredibly large aggro range, and follow you fairly rapidly through even more difficult platforming sections. I don't mind the combat in the game truly, but the enemies aren't quick kills, and they are just too plentiful. In a game where you are intended to fall over and over and climb back up every time, the enemies are just too much of a chore for me to want bother with and continue the game. If they died permanently or at least until you fast traveled out of the area I think it would make the game significantly better.

Currently can't play the game at all without crashes, will happily change my review once the GPU issues are fixed but the game is completely broken as of now.

Mind blown by how genius this game is despite being so simple. A must play for platformer fans.

Finally got to a point where I felt ready to review the game, which meant I was willing to put it down for 5 seconds to type this out. This has got to be my favorite puzzle game to date, no other puzzle game has kept me so glued to my seat and desperate to find all the secrets the well may hold. I still have a lot more left to do but I had to leave a positive review while I before immediately diving back in, GET THIS GAME!!!

This game is unbelievably good, the most insanely unique roguelike I've ever played. I can't actually put into words how cool this is and the way they use the windows as combat mechanics just blew my mind, cannot recommend enough

This game is pure magic. There really isn't a good combination of words I could use to describe what this game does to my brain and my body while playing it, I have never been more immersed and physically affected by any game before much less a 2d one. The insanely immersive living breathing ecosystem that this game cultivates in each of its regions is just indescribably impressive and the creatures that inhabit the world are just as incredible and terrifying.

This was all true before downpour, but now the game is 10 times better. The environmental storytelling done between all of the slugcats playthroughs is nothing short of a masterpiece that needs to be experienced. I cannot recommend this game enough, it is the most creative and impressive experience and absolutely pushed the boundaries of what I thought was possible for a video game.

A dream come true for fans of vampire survivors and hololive. Exceeds all my expectations :D

Dredge is a phenomenal game that is everything it sets out to be. The vibes are immaculate, the fish are terrifying, and the mystery is genuinely interesting and unpredictable. Would fish again
