Wube continues to support and develop this game 7 years later, paying close attention to community bug reports, adding QoL features, and focusing on optimizing how the game runs. Now with the DLC being officially announced, they've continued their weekly blog posts on some of the features in the upcoming DLC. I love how they go through the entire design process such as initial concepts and hardships in implementation and explaining how they overcame them. This game truly deserves the labor of love award.

Short and sweet. Got it for $4.39 on the winter sale and I would say it was worth that much. Not at full price though. Very obviously a mobile -> PC port with how clunky some of the controls are. Auto-snapping feels weird and a little too strong at times. It annoyed me that I had to pick up the damn screwdriver for every single screw on an object.

I didn't care for the story because I bought this game for the gameplay but hey if that's your thing then w/e. The story looked cute and it had voice acting but I just couldn't care for any of the characters. The music was calming and the sound effects and the feedback for putting items together were pretty nice though.

The game is way too easy. Its great for casuals who aren't gamers but I went into this expecting to actually have to think about how things are put together. Do one thing wrong and the narrator will help you. There's nothing too complex about any of the objects. Every single one felt on par with a tutorial puzzle and it just left me wanting more. The most challenging level is apparently the one they added post-launch... but it was still pretty quick to solve.

My friend had a staff that made a chime noise whenever it was pulled out. They were showing in a decently populated area. We watched a guy run past us, stop for a sec, switch classes, walk up to us and pull out the weapon repeatedly and my friend did the same like some weird communication for a couple of seconds. He then went on with his life and we were left giggling for a little bit trying to comprehend wtf just happened.

I was doing the main quest and just got out of a cutscene. I went afk because I wanted to eat lunch and just had the game open on my second monitor while watching youtube on my main one. After a while, a mentor (crown icon) leading a train of people. They were presumably new players because they all went through the cutscene at the same time. After they got out of it, the mentor kinda just walked up to me and /pet me. His little train, one by one, did the same. I like to imagine that the mentor was talking about me as if it was some discovery channel documentary. "And here we see the wild AFK, lookit her in her natural habitat. What. A. BEAUTY! I can just pet her and she won't flinch! They are such gentle creatures."

Random encounters with people are the best.
