Sony and Arrowhead keep ruining the game. Even with all the backtracking they've done I still can't give it a positive review. Good game gone to ♥♥♥♥

My buddy bought me the game and within the first 5 minutes he fed me a cracker and screamed "YOU CAN FEED EACH OTHER CHEEZITS?! THIS GAME IS SO WORTH THE $80 I SPENT ON IT!"

You did a great job Nik! The game is great and I'm glad you went and followed through on making a new title. Ik your last project got canned and it did a number on your moral but I think it was for the better. Because of that incident you've now grown stronger as both mentally and as a developer. Can't wait for what you have cooking up in the future.

The games fun if you enjoy games like Phasmophobia, love the idea of being able to exorcise the ghosts and the tasks to exorcise are pretty fun. The animations for the exorcism are just insane as well. That's not mentioning all the amazing visuals you get when you hallucinate in game. Over all, really well done and put together. Cannot recommend it enough. Only downside to it is that there's only a handful of maps but they're adding more very frequently so I can't really complain.

overall verdict in my opinion:
A solid 8.5/10

Game is absolutely terrible now-a-days. Ik I'm bouta get flak from all these NeW LiGhTs because of this but coming from a Destiny 1 Beta Veteran (before anyone thinks anything, I only have 100 hours on Steam due to the fact that there's cross-save). They've ruined the game franchise by FoRtNiTiNg It Up and marking up the prices of literally everything in the in game store (Eververse). Destiny 2 USED to be good. All the way back during Forsaken, then they slowly ruined it by bringing in the Season models which got worse and worse overtime and making almost everything stupidly overpriced. I remember when shaders used to cost 30 Bright Dust EACH from the Eververse store, now its 300. Or the fact that it's no longer easy to earn Bright Dust. Before you used to be able to scrape your old Eververse items that you didn't want anymore and you'd get Bright Dust back from it (10 for a shader and 100 for a ship or sparrow with the prices going up in terms of rarity) now its grind tf out of bounties and only get like 20-50 Bright Dust per hour or so (maybe like 30 mins if you REALLY go for it).

Not everything is worse than how it was before though. In terms of the story it is far more interesting than before with it having something new going on almost every few weeks but you're stuck with purchasing the Digital Deluxe version of the DLC or by purchasing the seasons in order to experience anything really. If you're planning on being a free to play player and not sink any money into it, you're basically gonna be locked to 3 gamemodes and nothing else besides the ONE or TWO missions they give out at the beginning of a season. It sucks because I really want this game and the franchise to do better and do well as it has been a major part of my life since the original came out all the way back in 2014. I put my heart and soul into this franchise yet it doesn't even seem like Bungie cares about their veteran players who helped bring the franchise to where it is today. From a vets perspective all they care about is making the sweet, sweet money now-a-days. I remember when everyone in the community thought Activision was the problem before the split. Now I've come to realise it was Bungie the whole time. Us veterans for D2 have been f-ed over more times than I can count on my fingers. Imagine buying two whole DLCs just for the developers to just be like "yeah nah we're deleting EVERYTHING that was available in those DLCs and heres nothing in return for wasting your money, haha get trolled loser. L + Ratio + Shouldn't of been stupid and bought the DLCs" or "oh you paid $60 for the pre-order of the game? WEEELLLL how about we make it Free 2 Play now and you get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return :DDDD"

That's also not mentioning that they're selling old hard earned loot to any Tom, Hank and Gerry that wants it. I will never forgive Bungie for what they've done to Not Forgotten and any of the other Pinnacle Weapons. I grinded for my Not Forgotten LEGITIMATELY wayyy back when it was an actual achievement to get one. To this day one of my proudest gaming moments was when I unlocked my Not Forgotten. Now-a-days, all you have to do is walk up to a Kiosk and be like "oh wow this one looks neat, I'm gonna get it" and boom. Now you own it.
Before you had to Complete 10 Competitive matches,
Get 150 hand-cannon kills in Competitive matches,
Get 200 solar kills in competitive matches,
Complete 3 Rumble matches (Free-For-All),
Get 100 precision hand cannon kills in Competitive,
Reach Fabled in the Competitive Playlist (2100 Comp score),
Go back to Shaxx and get the Luna's Howl
Then you need to get 300 Luna's Howl kills in Competitive,
And then after all that you need to reach Legend in the Competitive Playlist (5500 Comp score).
Plus you had to work on each step one after the other/one at a time. You couldn't do the Handcannon kills + the solar kills at the same time for example so it was a slow and painful task. (ik it doesn't sound that bad but in Competitive at the time, you got pinned up against the sweatiest of tryhards to the point where they're abusing any/every mechanic in the game to give them the advantage. For example; the ability to one-two shot you with full autos or burst fire guns when you need 3-4 headshots with your handcannon to kill. That's also not mentioning the 1 tap shotgun spam, the 1 tap fusion rifle spam, ability/super glitches, etc). So you can see why someone like myself is aggravated that someone can just walk up and buy it now. Even if it's no longer viable really and has been nerfed into the ground. I believe all the Pinnacle Weapons should of just stayed how they we're to SHOW the players who actually grinded for it and put the time and energy into getting it. Or atleast sell a different variant of the gun so you can still tell who got it legitimately and who just bought it.

I have a lot of bones to pick about this game and the franchise but this review is getting wayyy too long with only me complaining about a few things. I could give a whole grocery list on why and how they raw-dogged this franchise into the dirt but I don't want to be here for over an hour typing a review that only 4 people are probably gonna read but if you did make it all the way down here and actually read everything. Thank you for your time and understanding. My overall say in the matter is, you may enjoy it now-a-days as a New Light but coming from the Veteran's perspective, they've changed and tweaked a lot of things to the point where it's not even the same game I fell in love with all those years ago.

TLDR; if you're New Light and willing to spend money, you're probably gonna enjoy this game but Veterans of the franchise and or Free 2 Play players don't really like it anymore because of the thing's they've done/changed.

Very good. If you like Call of Duty you're gonna have a bad time, if you like more realistic shooters you're gonna have a good time. All I can say is F****ing arty

It's apart of the Ezio Trilogy so obviously its great. 3,000,000 outa 10 would highly recommend, I love the Ezio Trilogy so much I've bought em all on 5 platforms (PS3, 360, XB1, PS4 and now PC) so if you're on the fence about picking this up, hope the fact that I bought the same 3 games 5 times helps.
