Just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ intro for this game is 45 minutes long if you watch it all, an hour if you include the tutorial of combat at the very start.
It wouldn't be so bad if there was just a "skip all" button, instead of skipping *just* to the next scene and having to skip again and again.

Since my last review, the game has changed a lot, it is now easier to make a profit even without spending a cent and it is easier to research most vehicles, especially top tier, with them making changes even still now to make researching end of the line vehicles easier.
I have played this game for many a year, and spent many a money on it aswell, which means I might be biased, but I do think the game is moving in a very solid direction currently.
Of course gaijin still has the attitude of trying to forcefully squeeze every single cent they can out of you, but at least they are untightening the thumbscrews that hold the F2P players captive, even if only slightly.

All in all I 100% recommend this game now, since it is very fun, and I believe that most people can have that fun given the changes they have now made.

Pro tip, if you want to grind the german air tree, instead of buying a premium, buy the tornado IDS (30€ as of the time of this review on the gaijin marketplace) and use that to grind.
It is not a premium jet, so it won't be able to efficiently grind the lower tiers, but those are easy enough to knock out just playing the tech tree vehicles and getting used to them.
After doing that, you can start playing the nado and getting basically free RP from being able to bomb 2 bases every match (use the fin retarded bombs, they allow you to bomb at a much higher speed, and use 10x1000lb, 5x per base)


OG Review:
If you're looking to try this game, DON'T, wait for a few weeks/months until they've made the changes and help us (the preexisting community) to make gaijin listen.
I know it sounds gatekeepie to say "no new players" but trust us when we say that it will help all of you newcomers in the long run.

Recently the devs have resorted to making changes with the guise of "doing what the community wants".

When the community then complains that these changes are either A: Not enough or B: not what we wanted, they resorted to telling us we were not specific enough, and trying to shift the blame on us.

After the community started reviewbombing the game, they complained about the fact that new players werent gonna try the game because of the massively bad reviews, which translated basically means "Guys, you're cutting into our bottom line because we cant fool new people into playing the game and spending money".

The game itself, if you were to remove the economy, would be amazing, but in it's current state we need to get the devs to listen by hitting them where it hurts.

We may have won a battle boys, but the road to win the war is long, adn we can't stop now!

One day I was in a small town in new mexico, agua fria was it's name I think.
I saw a man on a horse ride into the town and look around, tried talking to him but he didnt have that much to say.
He had an intimidating presence, so nobody really wanted to ask his business, that intimidation probably comes from the fact he had a massive .357 magnum strapped to his hip.

It was about 6 or 7 am when he came into the town, came in from the south if I remember correctly.
My friend joey told me that he wasn outlaw loose and running, and that he was here to do some business with that massive gun in his holster.

There was an outlaw named "Texas Blue" in the town... actually I think it was Texas Red, he had killed a lot of men that were trying to kill him before, only 24 years old.
He actually had a few notches on his pistol, one big one for his first kill and 19 more.

Now, that stranger started talking all of a sudden, made it real plain to all of us, told us he was an arizona ranger and that he wouldnt be in town for too long.
He was there to collect that bounty on that Texas Red feller's head, alive or maybe dead.

Didnt take too long for someone to tell texas red about this of course, but he didnt worry cause he had killed everyone before this ranger.
Twenty men had tried to claim that bounty, and twenty men had made one fatal mistake, twenty one would be this ranger, with his oversized revolver.

Now, that morning seemed like it only lasted 10 minutes, it was about 20 or so past eleven when they both came ridin out into he street.
We were all watching from our windows, with our breath held, we knew this poor ranger was about to meet his end.

Standard procedure duel rules, of course, so twenty feet between em just before they started the fight.
That damn ranger was so fast that texas red didnt even have time to draw before the bullet already hit him!
And that ranger he didnt miss, with that great gun.

It was all over in a matter of seconds, and we all gathered around, and there he was, texas red's body on the ground.
He might have had on livin' but he made one fatal slip.
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip.
That damn big iron on his hip.

The first time I picked up this game I was confused, there was so much going on, energy rising, magic wizards wizarding their wizardries into my blood magic wizardry collective. I have given this man, this husk of a creature by the name of 4G my soul, my heart, my everything, and yet still he lusts for more. "Play on Steam!" he screams in my dreams. "Buy more packs, buy more packs" I hear the voices chanting in my head, even during work there is nothing else I can think about.
I have divorced my wife and lost custody of my kids, ive begun taking pills to cause me to only need one hour of sleep a day to be able to spend more time on NGU, NGU I say, NGU is all I need, nothing else, I eat NGU, I drink NGU, I WANT ONLY NGU.
"One. More. Level." I say as I assign 7 billion energy to another NGU level, drawing my final breaths as I finally slip away into the sweet embraces of death, getting ripped away from this game one last time, forever.

10/10 good game would recommend.

First off, I wanna say, from the gameplay I've seen, this game seems to be great, and an actually good shooter, so you'd think that I would recommend it right? Sadly... I can't.
You may see that I have 9 hours in the game and go "oh, yeah hes probably played it a fair bit", no I haven't. I got stuck at the "connecting to ww3 network" screen for all of those 9 hours, I waited for an hour, then slept 7 hours, and when I woke up I was still at that screen, I do see that some people CAN enter the game, but I wouldn't recommend buying it right now since the risk this happens to you is pretty high.

I may recommend this game, once I actually get to play it.

There I was, unsuspecting, just a rook laying in a corner being a fat piece of actual human feces.
All of a sudden, I saw a counter appear at the top of the screen, "enemy is about to scan you" I heard over the radio, "not too bad" I thought, but then my phone also started to ring "I thought I turned this damn thing off" I said, frantically trying to deactivate it, but then everything started shaking, I was freaking out, as I started to move I saw a red outline appear around me, and then all I could hear was the sound of a big german man with a metal chunk in front of him running towards me at hyper-speed, as I heard the flash all I could exclaim was one last N word, to my suprise I did not die, but now I am out on the title screen, it says I cannot play for another 30 minutes, better than dying to blitz again I say, closing the game.

10/10 would freak the ♥♥♥♥ out again.
