While I'm not 100% happy with some of the changes made here, the game itself isn't bad. I see they took a little bit of their ideas from ARA which was fun in its own right. I think there are some things missing that could make the game better and I also think the Barbarian tribes (indy nations) tend to be way more of a pain than they should be but the game isn't all bad. I think it just needs some improvements here and there.

Game could be fun I guess, if I can ever get passed the load screen right after the first battle. Made my character, go through the first cut scene, fought my way to the first story boss. Beat it and then hit a load screen...that never went away. I waited and waited and nothing. I left the game and came back today thinking maybe it was a server issue or just a glitch. Logged in, selected my character and the load screen pops up and loads in...and never goes away. I can't play the game because the load screen apparently is the game.

What little I was able to play though it felt like a mobile game with how it was controlled and how the layout was. As it is...I do not recommend this game. Not what I was expecting in the slightest.

This is one of the better remakes I have seen on the market. The game play, story, music, and all around feel of this game is a top notch entry into the Persona universe.

As a fan of the DA series, I can say that while this game isn't as good as the first one (though neither were the other 2 after Dragons Age Origins) I can say I am currently liking it for what it is. The graphics are nice and refreshing though they are similar to DA3. I miss the ability to import data from further back than just DA3 and really you don't import it as much as you just kind of make some choices from what I can tell anyways.

That said there are still several issues with the game that needs to be worked on, making sure the character you spent time making loads in properly when loading in from a save game would be something that needs to be addressed soon, even though there is a work around it's annoying and shouldn't even be an issue. The second is water glitching. You fall in deep water and apparently you don't swim...but you don't die...and you can't jump up on shore, the only thing you can do is either load from an autosave point or port to a port stone close by. It seems like that should also be something that needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.

Story wise, the game isn't bad thus far, this game has already caught a bunch of flak for its open 'Wokeness' which I agree, you can tell it was made with woke crowds in mind, but despite that as a gamer and looking past the politics of the game the game itself seems to be fun and interesting. Unless something happens I would recommend it if your a DA fan, that said just remember that after EA's purchase of BioWare they do not have a good track record with games...remember Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem.

For those that are like me and remember the classical MUD style games and then the graphical ones that came soon after this is a blast in the past that is pretty well done. While there are a few things that could be done to improve upon this game overall this game is a great throwback to the past when MMORPG's were simple and fun. Regardless if you are a solo player (like I am most of the time) or if you have some close friends that you can play with this game offers a fun time...plus the nostalgia is just top notch.

I highly recommend this game if you are into MMORPG's and a fan of NCSoft. The game is still really new and so there is a lot of lag at times and certain times of the day it is worse than others. The game offers a wide arrange of in game events that can be fun. While there is still a need for a better assortment of armors and weapons that need to be added at some point I think they will be as the game gets further along. There is also PVP available in the game, but this game isn't all about PVP no matter what some say. If your wanting a PVP heavy game, go play CoD.

I would like to see how far this game can go.

Couldn't play, shows I meet all the requirements but when I go to play I can't even get past the intro video. Sadly I had to leave it open for a while to get all the shaders and resources to load in and since I had to do that it kicked me out of my time limit to return the game for a refund. So, I'm stuck with a 60$ unplayable game.

Early Access Review
While the game has recently came out on EA, I think it has some real potential. There are some things that need to be ironed out and some content that needs to be added (and I am sure it will in due time). I think the game has some decent graphics and some decent concepts. I would like to see how much more this game offers in the way of story, plot, and gameplay.

If your into the Trails series as much as I am then this wasn't a bad addition. I won't lie...at first I was hesitant due to it not being a Trails series entry with Rean in it. To me personally, the character Rean was instrumental in the Trails series, at least for the Trails of Cold Steel. Now understandably I also realized that this game was NOT another Trails of Cold Steel game and was in its own right a new additional set of games to the Trails Series.

Despite that however, I feel that Falcom delivered on this new entry pretty well. While they have made some game play changes (for better or for worse) the story was pretty well done. The lack of a 'romance system' which to me really added some depth to the Trails of Cold Steel games (even if some of it wasn't well thought out) was a bit of a let down to some extent but it wasn't a deal breaker. The game play mechanic of allowing you to fight freely without the turn based system even in its limited capacity was well done. The graphics stay true to their roots .

I am waiting for the second game to come out so I can delve further into the story and see where things lead the MC and his companions.

I normally don't leave bad reviews because honestly I just don't think its all that of a nice thing to do. That said if this review can help one person not waste their time on a lie from a company that doesn't seem to understand the basics of gamer etiquette then I've done my job. The game could be fun, it looks fun, and from the people playing they all say that its pretty decent, however let me honest. IF your going to put a game on Steam free or not, and then force gamer's to jump through hoops just to play a free game, then to push a pay to play agenda only a short time after making it sound like a free to play game...then honestly you kind of deserve the bad press.

I honestly would love to play the game...but I'm not going to go through 50 windows, re-download the game from another site, get an activation code that you should have given when I downloaded it from the Steam store, and then shove in my face that if I had gotten it from EPIC I wouldn't have had to jump through the hoops. Gaming companies these days are just sad.
