Tl;dr: How’s the game now?
It’s playable and regularly patched for bugs. In my opinion, it’s worth buying—I’ve spent countless hours on it and had a blast playing with friends.

Bugs?
Of course, especially after new content drops with patches. Sometimes it’s better, sometimes worse, but there’s never been a situation where the game was completely unplayable.

To be honest and keep this review as fair as possible, the game is still haunted by its past when it was in the hands of a different development team. Back then, one patch introduced such a severe bug that it caused random desynchronization, making it impossible to continue playing—frustration levels were through the roof. Now, after a different studio took over, it’s clear how poorly the original code was written. Every patch that adds something new tends to break completely unrelated features.

That said, the current developers are actively working on fixes and keeping the game alive. It went from being in a hopeless state to a solid, consistently supported title.

Overall, I recommend it—especially with friends!
