Cute, quirky, charming and some-what heavy game with its topics. The casts are pretty endearing and the game has a solid art direction + soundtrack.
As for the gameplay unfortunately, the combat system is pretty much your standard "press X to win" thats typical in every "4 doods in a row" type game. you just mindlessly go thru encounters without regards of items or debuffs and the bosses are also a no-brainer, the battle system the game has kind of loses its relevance gameplay wise later and is just pretty much there for narrative sake. but still fun regardless

It took me 5 hours to make a donut.

Play it on an emulator with a patch to increase the frame-rate. Thanks me later.

A perfection of the Armored Core formula with one of the best/intuitive controls and UI in the series. And very beginner/entry level for those that never touched an AC game. But, there could've been more to this game tbh, like an expanded Arena or more modes for multiplayer.

My biggest complaint however is the lackluster OST. there's only two tracks that are somewhat memorable and worthy enough to look up and listen to on its own. when I think of "Armored Core Music" I think of: Jungle, Drum n Base, Techno, EDM. that kinda stuff which the game doesn't really contain, although the current OST does go with the atmosphere. Note that I am a classic AC fan so im pretty biased.

An extremely fun FPS tbh. goes on sale for dirt cheap as well, so theres really no excuse to pass up on this game.

90% of the time I feel like that one wojak image where he's standing awkwardly in the corner at a party. 10/10

All the good gamemodes are pretty much extinct, so its full of nothing but RP servers with 30 GB worth of garbage you have to download each time you join one. the people that plays on these RP servers take it too seriously and a majority of them are also moderated by power tripping 14 year olds with inflated egos thatll ban you for having fun. Not to mention that these servers tend to be pay-to-win, lots of locked content behind a paywall.

The game is fine, its a fun sandbox experience to mess-about in with tons of add-ons being added everyday, this review is mostly concerning the state of community servers, or the lack of variety in community servers more-like.
