I originally tried playing prior to the patch which allowed friends to be invited didn't quite enjoy not playing with my friends, thankfully I gave it another shot. Whilst this game has a way to go to be great it's not bad for some nice casual fun. The fact remains it is still very much a console port and it does show but maybe with time it'll shine.

Cons:-
  • In my opinion there are too little options in remapping for changing keys and other ue4 tweaks would be nice (I manually added an fps limit to prevent crashes).
  • Trying to gain money in the free mode is a grind I could do without especially as the mode without the aim assist costs so much.
  • I firmly believe that the aim modes should either not be so pricey or to be free entirely to open the game up to the people who like a challenge. (though paying for dlc unlocks these)
  • I felt bad for a guy in a green top on one of the scenes as he clearly had no friends and was talking to an empty chair (please get him a friend)

Pros:-
  • The gameplay itself is pretty damn solid It very accurately portrays how I can try to be clever and it goes horribly wrong with the cue ball ending up on another table,
  • The scenes are also a nice addition I often get distracted by the tvs like at a real pool hall (maybe the woman laughs a bit too much though)
  • A nice variety of game modes and a trickshot mode (although gated behind dlc, If you wish to expand your experience probably worth investing)
