I have to say, if you like Galaga but wished you could move around really awkwardly across the screen then you may like this. It is insanely colorful and exciting looking. The incessantly up-beat techno/edm does sorta start a small little tiny headache right about the eyebrows, but all in all fitting for the setting. You can't have that many explosions in space without that type of music.

The biggest con I'm seeing right now are the keyboard controls - you cannot use the mouse and it gets a little strenuous trying to move and fire at the same time. Especially because I didn't know if I was about to go forward or backward on the screen for half of it.

Either way, still enjoy the game, would recommend. Might post screenshots later on :)

I feel like this must be a new developer testing out their creation skills? If it is then I can definitely say that this is a learning opportunity.

If it is not, then I really don't know. I would honestly like my $0.49 back. I don't even think I want to try to get the badge from this (because honestly I don't feel like wasting money on it). I played for about 15 minutes. Maybe not even. Now I'm not the expert on jumping puzzles but this just takes the cake on being way too aggravating to level up.

You have 10 seconds to clear a level. Doesn't seem like a problem when looking at this game. But then if you fail, you fail everything. I was able to get to Level 3 no problem but after running out of time because I didn't want to fall, I had to restart from Level 1. Repeatedly. And that gets annoying. So I stopped playing.

If others have gotten to a higher level, let me know!

Also - you are supposedly able to access the Steam community while playing. Unfortunately, pressing Shift+Tab does nothing. No Steam overlay. And F12 doesn't take a screenshot - it opens up the code? Might want to get that checked out!

Either way, I can't recommend this. Even if it is my failure to level up.

This game is super addicting. I love that each level is a puzzle you need to solve to move on. The controls of the game are fairly simple, which make it interesting and enjoyable to solve each level.

The premise is that you are a hacker for hire and with each level cleared you are hacking the system. Will probably marathon this game and then replay to better my level time.

I also like the sleek, dark, futuristic graphics of the game. Ran well on "gorgeous" mode (on an MSI laptop).

I was excited to play Astroneer since it ended up in my game queue. This has honestly been one of the best purchases I have made on Steam.

At first I was skeptical because this was not the type of game I usually go for (MMOs) but I liked the concept about a future scout trying to survive on a deserted planet. For an early access game I feel that there is a lot that you can do (search, explore, create, build) with a lot of places to go.

There still are some glitches within the game, however it was something I (and the creators) expected - early access and all. You can work around these and I feel like the development team really wants to hear from people and work with the feedback we give them.

Love the graphics, too! Can't stop taking screenshots of this game! :)
