A little bit of the classic early access jank, but if you can overlook the small stuff this game clearly has a lot of love poured into it.

I was a bit worried on the "optimization" complaints, but I see 144+ fps with a 1070 and 6700k.

Obviously it's not the most graphically beautiful, but it plays alright and as far as I can tell is functionally stable, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for Space Engineers.

If it's not obvious, by the way, that's what this game is - Space Engineers except it's actually good. And I've played a lot of SE.

Interesting idea but the building is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cumbersome that it's hard to recommend. I've even enjoyed games that have you slowly piece together a vehicle one block at a time and in some ways this game simplifies the smaller stuff that other games might unnecessarily complicate - but the vast majority of the time I spent was just fighting with the build controls.

Pieces don't line up properly. Moving the camera while holding a piece jettisons you out of existance almost instantly. You can't so much as rotate a piece while "holding" it, it has to be placed first. Copying pieces is an absolute chore, and mirroring symmetry isn't an option so you're going to be fighting with both the copying and rotating the entire time.

I'd gladly give this a second shot if the building was polished, but in the current state the bad just outweighs the good.

This is the first game in a long time that has had me immediately hooked from the first minute of gameplay.

Fun and responsive combat, interesting story, clever mechanics, couldn't ask for more.

Hundreds of hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.
Once you feel like you've got a grasp on the main game there are tons of really well made mods to keep you on your toes and always be pushing that sense of discovery and problem solving.

Fantastic game. Well worth the money if you're into this sort of thing.

Was one of my favorite games until the loot system made building the bot you actually want completely RNG based.

I would go so far as to call it pay-to-win now (though I wouldn\'t blame people who did), but if there\'s something specific you want to build, get ready to grind for weeks or drop some cash.

Bluntly, this game has been outright ruined by a recent update. Avoid until the economy is fixed, don\'t support Freejam ignoring their community.

Crazy fun. Can be difficult, but feels really fair. Animations are smooth and enemies telegraph what they're doing, it's up to the player to keep track of everything going on and dodge.

Movement and combat are extremely fluid and just feels nice to play.

Literally the only con I could come up with is that the music is a bit lackluster. Nothing that you have to go literally turn off, but it often doesn't add a lot to the game like great music can (Necrodancer comes to mind, though that game literally revolves around its music so that's a bit of an unfair comparison).

Overall amazing. Would recommend this to anyone that is a fan of roguelikes. I am not disappointed in the slightest.
