Early Access Review
What an amazing game to play with friends or new people you're trying to get to know, super fun for an early access game and I can't wait to see more of what it has in store

Early Access Review
Disney Dreamlight Valley Early Access:
Let me just start by saying I've been LOVING this game so far. If you enjoyed/were interested in Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing you're going to LOVE this game.

Pros:
- A lot of famous Disney characters to collect and interact with.
- Amazing shopping system, it's so fun seeing new stuff in the store everyday.
- One of the best cooking systems I've seen in a life-sim.
- Making money feels rewarding.
- The graphics and lighting are very pretty and decorating is fun.

Cons:
- The game often feels 'clunky', I can run most games at high graphics and 160fps but DDV feels a bit slow.
- You can unlock every area relatively fast/there are only about 2 areas locked behind quests.
- You can make custom tops and hats but nothing else (no bottoms, accessories etc).
- Strict item limits, I've only decorated one area and I'm at about 3/4 of the limit already.
- This game WILL be frustrating if you don't have much free time since some items are time-sensitive and you cannot change in-game time without risking breaking stuff in the game.

Overall, if it sounds interesting to you I'd grab the Xbox Game Pass for £1 to test it out before committing. There's cloud saving so if you decide to purchase on Steam, your progress from Game Pass will pass over.

Anime-GF Fantasy XIV:
First of all, there are many F2P players in FFXIV and, if you're wanting to be one of them, DON'T PURCHASE THE GAME ON STEAM!! This will force you into paying for a membership after 30 days of "free" play time, so I would recommend downloading through FFXIV's website first, you can always purchase the game on Steam afterwards. Once you pay for a membership, YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK TO BEING F2P ON THAT ACCOUNT.

Pros:
- The fanbase in-game is (usually) pretty nice, people are helpful most of the time.
- Socialising is huge in this game (in-game clubs, RP events etc), but it's all completely optional.
- Certain servers have boosts that help new players get to endgame quicker.
- The first two DLCs are free. I take my time with this game and, 447hrs in, I'm still at the 2nd DLC.
- The fashion options are pretty amazing.
- Most players are 18+, so you won't have to deal with annoying kids who grief (MOST of the time).
- A lot of different jobs to pick from and you can do every single job in the game on one single character, so no need to level up 15 different characters and switch whenever you feel like changing things up.
- A mixture of easy and hard jobs for those new to MMOs and MMO veterans.

Cons:
- In order to get certain buffs, you HAVE to join a clan (in-game they are called Free Companies).
- A lot of characters tend to look the same.
- 447hrs in and I haven't been interested in the story once.
- A lot of people in clans (Free Companies) tend to be dead-set on creating drama (in my experience).

If FFXIV sounds even remotely interesting to you, I'd definitely give it a go, but just make sure to download FFXIV from the website and don't purchase it through steam until you're 100% sure you want to commit to a paid monthly membership. Purchasing the game through Steam locks you into a paid membership, but you can play F2P (free to play) on the website download forever (until you decide you want to pay).

Dopamine Farmer 2:
I never finished Slime Rancher 1 because many people had already played it by the time I got around to it, but I still sunk many hours in on Epic Games and Xbox One just to farm my little slimes and keep them fed. Today, I remembered the sequel released and immediately bought it and I've been playing it since then (3.4hrs appr). I'd recommend this game to people who enjoy farming sims and cute aesthetics.

Pros:
- Amazing lighting and gorgeous views.
- Adorable slimes (new slimes and returning favourites from SR1).
- Not scary but threatening enemies which you can toggle on/off (suitable for kids).

Cons:
- Doesn't seem well optimised (may be fixed).
- In my 3.4hrs it seems I've uncovered most of the land already.
- Some features from SR1 seem to be missing (may be intentional, may be fixed later).

Overall I'm enjoying the game and I hope more content is to come!

Some of the fetch quests and back and forths can be kind of tedious but apart from that, the characters, story and areas in this DLC are absolutely amazing.

It's a great concept, but it crashes almost every 10 minutes and doesn't recognise my headset when I'm trying to use my Kinect 360 for fullbody tracking, so my trackers end up really far from my body.
