If you like mechs at all play this game

I don't know how they did it but I had 10/10 expectations and they surpassed that

Honestly one of the BEST f2p models i've seen in ANY (f2p) game. The able to dismantle cards you don't need/don't care for and then being able to CRAFT cards you do need/want is super good. This allows me to literally craft an entire deck of cards that's allowed me further earn more gems to get more cards. This model is obviously more geared to people who probably only want to run 1 or 2 decks, but by the time you want to build more decks your either willing to put in the time to earn the gems you need, or willing to spend money as your enjoying the game. The point is that the monatization in no way shape or form feels predatory and I feel like I don't need to cough up money to stand a fighting chance against long time players

this game has many questionable design choices that'll leave you very confused and frustrated

it aint titanfall 3 but it'll do for now

one of the best games if you feel like overtaking a galaxy

Very good game, and very much worth the money. Very well polished considering how well it looks and small team, very comparable to Ace Combat 7 in every way.

If you enjoyed AC7 (or any Ace combat game) you'd love this game and I highly recommend

If you want to get into Ace combat style game but cant afford AC7 nor wants to dive into emulation pick this up, it's practically the same experience.

Optimization wise the game runs great and looks great

gameplay wise, you can feel the dated game design in the original trilogy when it comes to certain things that just make the games not fun, such as boring/questionable level design, shooting that makes a lot of the weapons obsolete, and a story thats either for the most part makes it feel like a chore to get through

The first games for their times are great, but comparing it with modern design choices makes you appreciate that we've moved on from said dated design practices
