this game saved my life. No joke. I have no Dead God, just 850 hours of being too ill to function. Isaac, somehow, saved my sanity during the worst times of my chronic illness. Thanks for being such a messed up dopamine game

The game lacks basic functionality such as being able to change from fullscreen to windowed, or volume controls. The controls are clunky and bug out a lot, and the game is extremely tedious, repetitive and boring. You can't pause the game either. This honestly isn't even worth the money for me.

I got scared once, and then I just got bored with doing the same thing over and over for 20+ minutes just to get past a small part of one of the nights. If you enjoy tedious, monotonous 'gameplay' then go ahead and get it but I cannot recommend this in any way to anyone. Sorry.

I've only played through the first act so far, but I am amazed at the quality of writing and storytelling in this game.
I've never played a game quite like this, I play a LOT of story games, particularly Telltale games so I love a good story and this is a story that draws me in, spins me around in circles and left me wanting more of it. Even though you are the director of the stage play, it's still impossible to not be surprised at the plot twists in the game.
The gasps of the audience echo your own, the questions running through the characters minds echo your own, it's an extremely well written game, with great graphics and a great atmosphere.

I'm looking forward to playing through the final two acts and finishing the game this week, it's gonna be a wild ride and I can't wait.
