10/10, game was hardcore
Learn to dodge and be ruthless, Puppy.
Don't afford your enemies any mercy, and fight with everything you've got

On a more serious side, this is an excellent game!
It's a fast-paced isometric shooter focused on MOVEMENT and TIMING.
It will punish you harshly for playing poorly, but once you learn to customize your character properly, dodge frequently, and exploit every advantage you have, you'll be a bloodthirsty god.
Don't forget to upgrade your dodge to allow more dodging, and you can dodge MULTIPLE times by selecting the areas you want to dodge to by holding *M2* and clicking *M1*

All combat encounters are ranked on a scale from *S* to *E*, based on time spent fighting, number of kills, and times you died. Play smart, fight fast, and you'll crush everything with minimal challenge. Stand around or wait too long when enemies are rushing in and you'll die dozens of times.

It might feel unfair at first, but keep trying to improve.

Enemies can also dodge, and will do so aggressively, sometimes dodging directly past your shots TOWARDS you, leading to you having to quickly retaliate with a strike as you dodge past THEM.
Everything is up to you, you can adjust your abilities instantly, as many times as you choose by adding and removing points from any branch of your skill trees, leading to a varied, powerful play-style.

Most importantly, stay confident!
A fight that might be crushing you could end in an easy win if you focus on your movement or CHANGE your abilities.

Played this game for 3,500 hours across a couple accounts, and I'm just sick of it at this point
Don't bother, don't even think about bothering with downloading it unless valve gets off their lazy asses and gives it real matchmaking.
It's one thing to have fun, random pubs, but having it so someone who's been playing for over half a decade gets matched with 9 people who've had the game less than a month against a team of 6 experienced players is just disgusting

I shouldn't see the scoreboard on nearly every match have the enemy team with scores between 75 and 30 and two people on my team with scores of 20 and everyone else with single digit scores.
Not only is it unfair to experienced players to have to try and brute-force a match against 6 people of equal or greater skill, with virtually no support from the team, but pitting newer players against a handful of randoms and 6 people that could be a low-tier comp team, complete with unusuals, is just horrible game design.
Imagine someone telling you there's a great, free game that you can play for upwards of ten years and not get bored, but in order to enjoy it, you have to be beaten with a lead pipe for 500 hours before you can finally fight back, but in the time it took you to get said pipe for yourself, the other people got tommy guns

Who would want that? Who would want to be thrown, fresh from the armory into a gladiator pit with people on your side that have no clue how to even hold a weapon, let alone use it, and the twelve of you have to fight the six most experienced fighters the coliseum has ever held, and they get another half dozen cannon fodder fighters to have you fight first before you can even reach them, if you can even reach them

The game was fun when the developers still seemed to care about the game, and about the community, but they continue to give us crates full of garbage we don't need, updates that take literally years to arrive, with nothing in it, except CASES full of garbage we don't need, but they still won't give us an option to have level based matchmaking or random matchmaking
You know, that ♥♥♥♥ that every other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ multiplayer shooter has? Including ones valve owns?
I really, really love this game, but playing it now, after all that has been done to it, hurts me.
I wish it was an a exaggeration, but this game actually hurts me
I end up depressed every time I try and play it again, because the first match is always unbalanced, and even if I stick with it for ten games, I'll only get one decent game, and that game will be just as unbalanced, but I will have hit the lucky strike and gotten the non-f2p team while the enemy team musters up the fighting spirit of a dehydrated seamonkey
I used to come back to this game when everything else in my life had ceased to bring me joy, but now I dread starting it again, because if this game is what I go to when everything has lost its charm, and even this disappoints me, then I truly don't have anything left to comfort me.
All I want is for Valve to listen to us again
There's thousands of us, but our voices seem to be muffled by the cold stone walls of this Fortress
The walls that once shielded my heart have become a prison, through which I gaze out at fonder memories of time lost to the enjoyment of a game whose corpse cannot even be allowed to decompose or be properly preserved, because propping it up as a public display brings them money.

I got this for free, and I uninstalled it for free after the first 15 minutes.

They made the orignal Skyrim unsearchable unless you own it, meaning new players will only find this version.
They never fixed the literal thousands of bugs that the community has made patches for, including the ones that can break the very start of the game, and instead took 1% of the modding community's work, slapped their logo on it, and tried to sell us the same game again.

This trash version that's not compatible with most mods costs literally twice as much money, with infinitely less content due to mod exclusion.

They don't deserve your money, but if you are desperate to play Skyrim, buy the actual skyrim for half as much at this steam link: http://ad.gamersky.info/@store.steampowered.com/app/72850/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim/
Better yet, wait for a steam sale, so it costs 1/4 what this does, or less and give them as little of your money as you can.

For future reference, whenever you go to check a game's review, always filter by negative comments and see what a game's real players think instead of thousands of people sucking off the Devs because they're too easily placated and won't think for themselves

Edit: three years later and no major changes have been made to improve the game, still better to buy the old version.
