It's just more disappointment, the base game but worse. All of Elden Rings totally unnecessary flaws are amplified ten fold in SotE and really show the short comings of FromSoft's ability to continue with the Souls series in the way they have been in the past without making any significant changes to update an already ageing underlying system. A saddening but wholly predictable terminus.
