If you're looking for a simple game with some challenging platforming and fresh mechanics, it is definitely the main appeal here. I was pretty satisfied.

Gameplay spices up quite quickly -- the second ability you get is given early, and is one of the the biggest appeals for me. Forget wall jumps to scale up walls, you get to stick your scissors into walls, and using that to climb high or make cool jumps. Its implemented quite smoothly too. The Nail/Pin in the first section is also a cool concept. Secrets challenged my thinking and prowess of my moveset. There's also room for different solutions to one challenge.

The way the level design teaches you early on is well done (ex, finding secrets, dashes, etc.) There were some rough moments in the middle of the game that confused me about where to go however. I would've loved an extra hint or so when getting to the later sections.

The atmosphere of the game is dark and mysterious which I love. The music is pretty good at enhancing that in the early game. However in the middle of the game (not the end), I think it the energy of the music clashed a bit thematically with the objective.

Overall a great platformer with some very interesting mechanics that make it quite fresh. The lore also provides a great story that I was invested in.

Not much has changed to Stick Arena (Dimensions) since it's web-browser release. Yet I played the game today and hopped into a few matches and having a lot of fun.

The sound effects, although few, are satisfying. They really are half of the fun of the game for me. However the end round music is a bit repetitive, and the intro music is a bit LOUD.

The gameplay is simple, but any 1v1 interaction is bound to boil down to corner-camping in high-levels of play. Hit detection can sometimes be off, and you can sometimes find yourself stuck on a corner you didn't realise WAS a corner (especially if you're a new player). Not a very reliable competitive game in that regard. But still enjoyable to play casualy.

Persistence is key to beat this game. Anyone can do it, all it takes is patience and trying different strategies. The reward is triumph over a difficult challenge, and the beautiful animation.

This game has a lot to offer, you just gotta pick it up and try it. The more the merrier.

There's not a lot of people playing, but that's becuase no one knows how much fun they could have.

If you dont like the PvP, play some story missions. They're fun to do anytime you like.
