damm they really do be bringing on the vibes of late stage captilism

Honestly this hurts to leave a negative review for this game as i love the halo series however im going to have to pretend that they stopped making FPS halo games after bungie
Halo Infinite Kind of sucks and is a huge disappointment and the biggest positive is the multiplayer
The only gameplay issue is the fact you can not return to some areas of the map after the last mission\
and the open world map does sort of bring down the potential experience of the story

I loved playing halo infinite however once i completed the campaign i realised how disappointing it was.
the game was fun but such a let down it might be worth a full £50 when its finally complete
for now i recommend buying the £1 game pass for this.

When i was doing the final boss fight it felt like i was only 1/3rd of the way through the game then i seen the achievement pop up i felt so cheated out on and disappointing that i was finished as it had only felt like a introduction or the first section of a story, none of the questions that the campaign had opened up were answered like

who are the guys that are worse than the flood?
who and what is the harbringer?
why does the harbringer want to activate the spires?
why does the banished want control over the ring?
what happened to the infinity?
what happened to locke? the rest of blue team? atriox ?
what is the state of the unsc other than the fact they got slapped on the ring?
why has everyone given up on the unsc that are on the ring?
what happened to anders from halo wars 2?

sadly the game does not answer any of these questions through the campaign.
And thats why i think its disappointing as the real campaign should of taken place from where halo 5 left off and where halo infinite starts.

if you actually want a good story 343 are selling it desperately in their other media like comics or books

the open world brings the singleplayer experience down as it feels like the world could of been better as after the campaign there doesnt feel much to the world and theres little to do other than explore so it feels like little is being accomplished

Things i learnt about the story after i finished the campaign

>Turns out the character that was set up as the main character through out all of halo 5 (locke) Died off screen and his helmet can be found on Hyperious(?) shoulder
>oh look they killed of another important character that was set up for halo infinite from Halo wars 2 (Atriox) guess what they killed him off screen again because why not.
>what happened to lasky? no clue
>what happened to cortana? wait she died off screen and was set up as the bge in the last game? well turns out that was a waste of a game
>not really a single memorable character in the game other than the chief and cortana, i personally cant name another brute or that other than atriox

i would honestly rather just play combat evolved again for the story
the only good parts apart of the narrative happened offscreen

Gameplay

I ran a handgun/blade character and used stealth in order to bypass enemies or kill them and i never had a single issue with this the game caters to all style of game play within its missions, i never had an issue with the gameplay.
gun play felt really good and strongly encouraged getting head shots to deal more damage, however after getting the pistol from ward i stopped aiming all together and just used hip fire as my characters stats meant it would be a breeze even when it came to the final boss in the game
crit chance 80% and crit damage 200% with a head shot multiplier of 2.5x at least which meant i could deal around 8k damage almost every 10th shot guaranteed this allowed me to kill many bosses extremely easy to the point where i defeated oda and adam within 10 bullets.

the blades are pretty fun especially once you unlock mantis blades i didn't use blades too much unless i had my weapons stripped from me which had happened several times throughout the story.

the only issue i had with game play was how janky the driving at first was however i quickly got used to this and it wasn't an issue

one thing i do love is how much you're choices can affect the game as i chose a corp life path and at the start of the game i managed to get Meredith stout killed which meant she was no longer a character for later which really impressed me as i had no idea about her character after the introduction.
the attention to detail is amazing even after calling jackie and mama welles after the incident

Technical issues
there were several bugs that had affected my time playing this game i didnt have many issues with smaller bugs as a simple reload the save would easily fix the majority of them.
I had to run this game at the lowest settings possible to run a stable 30 fps my graphics card is old and im looking to replace it with a 3070 i currently own a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
the issues i encountered were trees and bushes would be visible from everywhere in the city showing through the ground and buildings and even got in front of characters when im talking to them however this is really only an issue in the bad lands

Disappointments

this game was amazing however there are a few things i found disappointing.
the gangs didnt really seem to exist outside of a few quests and dont really matter even in the open world

the final mission in "space" only lasted 5 seconds and would of been a nice goodbye to V after this mission where it could of been guns blazing on the crystal palace

story

the story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing theres no other way to describe it, in my first play through i did the majority of side quests and i did 2 of the 6 endings i loved every minute of the story it was amazing and only got better when johnny silverhand came on scene, the plot and dialogue was amazing but when ever johnny came on he ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sold it and it really did go above and beyond.

Spoilers for the endings

I was so heartbroken when the credits came up after the final scene where V wakes up to see their partner and later leave you, i personally chose judy and she left night city because i was holding her back from being happy and I was going to die in 6months and pushed her away, that ending which i thought would be the good ending hurt more than what i thought the "bad" ending was
where you take your own life above Misty's, killing both you and silverhand, this ending ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broke me once the credits started rolling as all these characters called you hoping that you didnt do it and youd pick up, panam river vik, they all hurt you emotionally at the end but it was nothing compared to who you romanced and for me that was judy who was in tears with mascara running down her face wishing you hadnt done it as she loved you (female V) i consider this the fitting ending in a way and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hurt me, but its night city i offed myself like any "other ♥♥♥♥♥♥" which is why i considered it to be right once ward says his peace to V .

overall the game is a solid 8 out of 10 with all the errors but once they are patched and im able to experience the game with a new card its easily above 10/10
buy this game it is immense fun and it tells an amazing story

just turns into you and your friends spinning in circles till you see someone then get one tapped

Great game, i have around 15 hours on this game so far and it does RTS Amazingly well.

• The amount of depth to the divisions and the variety of Units is great as how you will never play the same battle twice due to how it limits what units you can bring out from that division.
  
• It runs extremely well and looks amazing even on the low setting on graphics and looks really good even in replay mode.
  
• Being Able to Replay a battle afterwords is amazing allowing you to see what happened that caused your defeat or overall taking cool screen shots.
  
• So far I only have 2 problems with this game and that would be the lack of allied heavy tanks in most divisions as you naturally get more medium tanks which can also be a good thing as it causes you play differently however this may not be the case if you find your self unable to move your tanks in a effective range.
  
• Another problem with this game which is very common in other WW2 RTS Games is the artillery spam, one to three pieces of heavy artillery can be ok however i find players will spam it out causing your troops and tanks to fall back without you being able to use them, and same with Rocket Artillery.
  
• my last complaint would be the weakness of planes, as any fighter or bomber can be easily routed by Cheap Anti Air that sits behind lines causing you unable to effectively use air support, i feel if AA was less accurate and planes could take more damage i feel that this would significantly improve the effectiveness of air support.

Overall this game is amazing and i would give it a 9/10 as i feel it is a great game thats almost perfectly balanced and i have had lots of fun online however many people will not play if they cant go axis which is a shame, however it is still Extraordinary Great.
since the price tag is only 35 pounds i would happily pay 50 for this game
