This is in the same genre of "bullet heaven/second screen" games, where you play this while watching something or hearing a podcast.
I enjoy this more than Vampire Survivors, it's somewhat more dynamic and engaged, and just really fun.
It's still early access, they're adding new items, weapons and biomes every few months, but what's already here is great.

DRG is a 4-players co-op game where you play a bunch of dwarves working for a typical mining corporation that cares a lot about profits, and very little about the employees.
Each dwarf has different tools and weapons, there are lots of different enemies, different biomes with different hazards to navigate, and there are multiple mission types to choose from.

And the best part? The developers keep adding new things (everything: biomes, weapons, enemies, mission types... EVERYTHING), completely for FREE.
Paid DLCs are only cosmetics, and the devs intend to keep it that way.
Anyone who is a fan of 4-player co-op games owes it to themselves to at least try DRG.

While it's possible to play solo with a cute little robot companion (that has customizable upgrades), it's most fun with friends or random people.
Yeah, that's right. The community in this game is very positive, and while I've heard of the rare stories that say otherwise, I've never encountered anyone who was toxic in any way whatsoever.

I will say that the graphics turned me off a bit when I looked at the game before I bought it, but it totally fits the game and grows on you very fast.

If you like 4 players co-op games, looking for a new one to play with your friends, or just want to help perpetuate good developers and their practices, get this game.

EDIT: A year later, and everything in my review is still true, and more so.
The devs continue adding free content in the forms of weapons, grenades, enemies, events, and tons of cosmetics to the game, completely free!
Even better, if you miss out on season pass content it gets added to the random loot pools you can occasionally find while playing, so there's absolutely no FOMO like every other online game-as-a-service money-grab.
Support the devs, rock and stone!

I love this game. I'm not great at it, only won 3-4 times in my 40+ hours of play, but there are always people who suck more than I do, and watching them fail spectacularly is very encouraging.

Really though, it's a fun game, especially the platforming races. There is a limited number of different games, but the devs add more every season and have started releasing more and more variants to the existing games, which make a lot of difference in making the old games feel fresh and fun after you've mastered them.
I mean, there's nothing quite like seeing an old game which usually had maybe 1-3 disqualifications suddenly wiping out 30 people in a new variant.

The real weakness is the server issues. Some days I have none or very few, but there are certain times (and maybe regions) where the server issues pop up more often and you get kicked out after a really good run and you just want to break something.

There are some bugs, too, but they're mostly of the "feature" type. Personally haven't experienced one that really annoyed me to a "not booting up the game again" level.

Anyway, great fun game, come and fall.

I'm pretty bad at CCGs and Deck-building games, I just don't have the patience to spend so much time fussing over decks and choosing cards, so while I've tried numerous such games and played them from time to time, I haven't stuck with any of them for any meaningful length of time.

All that said, I really enjoy Minion Masters, after stealing some decks from players I've played with/against, sometimes touching them up a tiny bit for my liking.
I'm no expert, surely, but I'm pretty ok and enjoy the game, the aspect of microtransactions and all the economy system is very free-to-play friendly, new cards and mechanics are being added every 2-3 months and I have very close to all of them without forking over a cent.

All in all, recommend giving the game a try of a few hours.

TLDR: There are some bugs that may sometimes annoy you, but this is a great game to play with friends or meet new friends in.

This is basically L4D2 with much more developed melee combat, more enemy types and the different characters are actually different in gameplay mechanics as well as quips.
Each character has 3 careers, each with a different skill tree and abilities and sometimes weapons.
The progression does stop at some point (when you level up all characters to 30) but you can still try to get better equipment and complete challenging deeds for fun.
Bots aren't great, but playing with friends is always great fun.

Anyway, don't believe the bad hype this game gets sometimes, it's great.

A fast and furious game where you and your friends or a bunch of strangers play ducks who try to murder each other with some weird weapons, ranging from swords and hammers to guns and laser rifles.
The controls are tight, the maps are fun, and the game is just plain funny (there's a quacking button), but the real meat is the weapons themselves.
They all have different properties, different ammo counts and firing rates and basically, you need to learn how to identify and use each one.
I mean, picking up a one-shot gun won't do you much good if you spray and pray, and if you pick up the game which for some reason the ducks hold the wrong way (barrel facing you), you'd better throw it before you accidently fire.
There are also plenty of single player challenges that are hard enough to make you master and actually get better at the game with, and they're certainly fun enough, but at the end of the day they serve as training for the real thing.
All in all, a hilarious game to play with friends, just wish there were more people playing online.
