This game is just sitting in a room staring at a door waiting for ppl to walk through. or if ur attacking u have to stare at the same door waiting for someone to move on the inside.

This review is purely from the perspective of someone who enjoys games that are difficult to pick up, and likes going through the process of learning the game from intense punishment (some of my favourite games are part of the dark souls series).

i love the platforming genre and the retro feel, i have enjoyed plenty of games with those 2 boxes checked, but as i said before, i enjoy difficult games. but this game feels too easy, the enemies are weak, and upgrades, which make the game easier, are too easy to access. the bosses are easy (the few that i have played against, idk if they get much harder) and unfortunately it doesn't offer much in the "cool new mechanics" department either. i had been waiting for this game for a while now and i am a bit dissapointed with how it turned out, so unfortunately i'm going to have to refund.

i rlly like the game but it's a shame that the developers don't balance their characters properly, as often i will find i literally can't do anything.

honestly, one of the best 30 hours of my life. enjoyed it thoroughly

don't believe what everyone says. i have nearly 400 hours in this game and i still really enjoy it despite the bugs and broken features. the price may seem over expensive but from my experience it is worth it. if you can get basic mechanics down like parrying and countering guard breaks then you're pretty much set (these mechanics can be practiced in advanced tutorial). yes this game receives alot of bad comments but if you want a unique and skillful experience, buy this game.
