It's a good game with alot of depth. It does feel like an incredibly solid game with alot of time and care into almost every decision they made with the game AND YET when playing you can feel the fact the higher ups said "we're releasing this game soon, wrap it up people" and they rushed on parts like U.I. and quality of life aspects of the game. I'd say this game is worth a buy if you're excited for another civ game, but better to wait for price drops and patches if you're more luke warm on the game.

It only took 10 seconds of watching a youtube video about this to know i needed to play it. This was a masterfully done demo. The artstyle is peak early 2000s. The character design is amazing, the music is amazing, the minigames were great, and what sent it over the edge was how all of them interact seemlessly. Probably the best game i've played in awhile and it isnt even released yet.

It's a fun game, but I have mixed feelings. This game feels confused most of the time. The art is stellar with great animations, and yet most of the time the scary creatures are always locked to a nearly static battle animation where the horrific creatures just kinda stare at you. Even just something small like the creatures slowly popping out of their little corner of the screen on a turn timer for you to fight would have been great. The U.I. is also a mess where critical information is popping up on complete opposite sides of the screen and it took most of the my gameplay experience to understand it. It just feels like the amazing art direction they went for is fighting the format their serving it to you at all times.

7/10 been a neat game to play but poorly balanced. Its been fun to find strategies, but it feels like there are very few ways to build. Often times there are 1 card wincons and a sea of do little cards. Most games have a nasty habit of stalling or making winning a grind. It has potential, but is marred by questionable design decisions.

I was initially put off by this game and one of the reasons was the only objective being to survive and seeming too simple. Coming back after all this time I was surprised to see how incredibly competently a ton of content was added. If you want to just drop stuff into a house and swing a bat at zombies this game is simple, but once i wanted to dive in i realized just how much depth there is. It really hit me with simple attention to detail like being unable to mark maps without having a pen or having junk paper being great to start fires as kindling.

If I wasn't looking through really heavy nostalgia goggles i'd call this an extremely lazy port. All the graphics of a ps2 emulator that costs $30, but god dang it it runs well and i can remote play with friends so i'm more than happy.

This game was kinda awful as both a horror movie and game, but oddly enough I had fun. They definitely had a really strong grasp on how to make the characters and they do so much of the heavy lifting in this. The overarching story and gameplay were just entirely sub par though.

It is absolutely criminal that they charged $60 for a game they have no intentions of finishing any time soon. The game is a tech demo and with no chapter update all of this time in the future it is just an out and out scam.

It's a cheap game. It's easy and fun to pick up.

Went into it expecting Left for Dead, but i got book club simulator at 15 fps. I rate it a Bubsy 3D/Super Mario 64
