Ah, you can only use one word here "childhood" what a great series this is from 2006, i remember myself playing the demos trying to beat the unbeatable boss in the second game well i didn't know that it was so :D.

So this huge project of a game is some top notch turn based combat. Basically a lot has changed from the past as usual, graphics get better, sound design etc. It is well crafted and a fun game to play, i can still feel the core of every game combined as that should always stay if a game has different parts/chapters made to it. The story really connects with the past games and knows how to introduce new characters. Give it a try and explore this world of swords and sandals. How a gladiator made it to space and who is still fighting on to beat the... wont want to spoil you. And the game is incredibly long for a 2d turn based game, even the older games. It can get a bit "grindy" when you are already on higher levels, but meh i guess its on you if you like it or not. It also has other and new additions but it will all be new to you if you are a new player.

This game series has been a part of my childhood for my entire life basically, it feels incredibly nostalgic to the players who have played the other games and such.
