While the game has been great, the most significant and game changing experience in RE8 has been the DLC addition, The Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm. The Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm for Resident Evil Village is a ground breaking change to the series bringing a breath of fresh air to the sinister world of Resident Evil. Here with the Mr. Raccoon Weapon charm, it gives you the hope as Ethan Winters that one day you may grow up to be just as cool as Mr. Raccoon. Keep in mind if you do not use the Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm that you will never grow up to be cool and be an outcast loser for the rest of your life.

In fact, I must confess I did not immediately equip it, as I started to progress with the Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm in my inventory rather than equip, none of the enemies saw me as worth their time. Furthermore, as I looked up from my game-play (once in a safe room not that it mattered with the enemies seeing me as unworthy of their time), I found divorce papers with a sticky note saying "You aren't cool like Mr. Raccoon & his weapon charm". I realized the error of my ways and equipped the weapon charm. Following that, I found my spouse deciding against the divorce, the enemies were paying attention to me, and I finally felt cool inside.

Overall, the game would only be a 5/10, but with the wonderful DLC "Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm" the game instantly becomes an 11/10.
