That's it? That's the ending? Kinda disappointed how the relationship between you and your coworker on the radio ended up. Other than that the game was a very nice treat, but I still just wish there was more for closure. Bit of a let down for me to be honest.

Edit: After having thought about it, the ending makes more sense, but man does it just feel deflating to me that instead of getting something beautiful for an ending, it ended like that.

Early Access Review
Note: I played this game solo. I am 3 hours into the game after immediately buying it. The premise is similar to the same "identify x through y clues" style of games like phasmophobia but with some okay gunplay and a few enemy types thrown in. Only played 2 maps so far, but both maps have had 3 different side content gameplay mechanics that seem to reference different games (fallguys, backrooms to name two). The evidence to gather is simple, and once you know what you're looking for it is easy to complete missions. Gonna put more time into exploring the other maps I have not played, and will definitely be following this game as it updates. Give it a try if you have the money and would like a shakeup of the phasmophobia style games.

This is a very nice game. I played it on and off every now and then and still come back to look at whatever new updates have come out. It is only singleplayer, but the dev is committed to working on it and has done great work with every update that comes out. Highly recommend people to try it out if you want a solo Day-Z-esque experience

Finding love is beautiful, especially when it comes as a surprise. Finding the end was exactly that. Now, I am free to search through all the little paths I didn't take, knowing that in the end, my soul found where it needed to be right at the start, and it felt right the entire way.

Great game. Absolutely loved it when it first came out, and over the years they have done great work at preserving the game and keeping it playable to this day. Extremely fun game to play with friends and has some classic community content in the workshop. Some reviews say that co-op doesn't work, but as of writing this review, it does work or has been fixed since those last reviews. Give the game a try, especially if it comes on sale, and find out why classic source games are great to play.

I'm addicted. This gave me the same feeling I got when I played 7 Days to Die and Project Zomboid. I love the setting and gives such good Half-Life vibes. It's a great time and you should definitely consider getting it.

Early Access Review
The game itself is nice, but definitely needs more work. The Early Access is very apparent, but that's okay if you know you're going into that and have that expectation.

I noticed a lot of previous reviews left are bashing the junkyard location for being repetitive, and I'll agree. The repetitiveness of playing in that location just to finish the first task of finding an artifact (which isn't guaranteed every trip), makes getting to reputation 2 troublesome, and bars players from experiencing the other locations the game has to offer. There are other locations, I promise. However, they also suffer from the same issue of repetitive gameplay. I only made it to the second location, not further, because I was given a task I couldn't complete. I did find out in my last playthrough that my task did change, so I'll look forward to completing that one and seeing reputation 3.
Overall, locations will need additional content, or more locations need to be added, to help with the repetitive gameplay.

Speaking of, the gunplay is okay, definitely a bit lackluster but its serviceable and I'm sure with a few tweaks, it can be really good. Enemy AI is a bit silly. I only fought a human enemy type and a single mutant enemy type. The humans are fine, but the mutants just feel like a damage sponge, especially with the weapons available to you at Reputation 2. I find myself constantly having to just spray so many bullets into the mutants, reloading in between them bashing me, and spraying again to eventually kill them. Im sure headshots deal more damage like they do on Human enemies, but even then it is still troublesome.

I have encountered a serious bug that almost made me want to stop playing the game. I had several items in my level 1 stash that, when I found my first artifact and extracted with it, my stash got reset and there is nothing inside of it anymore. I thought it was a one off, and stored more items in there again, only to extract with another artifact some other time and it resetting again. I don't know if its extracting with the artifact that is the issue, but it was definitely disappointing. Upgrading to level 2 stash however seems to prevent that as I have in my last extract brought back an artifact and my test items inside the upgraded stash remained in the stash. Hope that gets resolved for other players if they experience the same thing.

Overall, looking forward to seeing what the Developer will add to the game. I only partly knew about the history of the last game the dev had been working on, but I didn't really put two and two together in regards to the dev behind this game, so I'm all for supporting them on this game and seeing it reach high potential.

TLDR: As it stands, the gameplay is serviceable, albeit repetitive, and should only be bought if you want something to fill the time with as you wait alongside the development process to add more to this game. It's a serviceable extraction shooter that definitely shows its early access side.
