Guess the math you learned in elementary came in handy after all

After some trial and error I've found out that by setting my GPU max clock speed to 2400MHz, I can run the game without crashing. It still has some very obnoxious bugs such as sometimes not letting you spawn in unless someone leaves the squad, or dying to impact damage if you step over a big dead body, and optimisation issues which makes it so that you'll be running CPU on 100% unless you use supersampling.

But the game itself is very fun to play when you ignore these issues, if you can make it run and don't encounter these bugs at critical moments you'll probably have a blast. I'd still wait until they optimise a bit more before recommending it, especially for those with AMD cards.

They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up even more somehow

The netcode is awful, so unless you live in the same area as your friends you will have a terrible experience full of teleporting monsters, players, terrain, and whatnot. You can't even place a building block properly.

Otherwise the game is fun, my review will change when they fix their connection issues.

Destroy fuse boxes and drill vault door.
Go upstairs to find vault keycard because vault doesn't open up.
Go downstairs and try to use the keycard on the vault, find out it does not work.
Go back up to get the drill so you can explore more.
Door you just drilled is locked again, because a swat npc spawned inside the building and they can lock / unlock doors (even if they are drilled).
Be stuck on the level fighting hordes of swat because the game doesn't let you leave without breaking into the vault, and your only tool for doing so is locked behind a door on the second floor.

Definitely the most fun VR shooter out there, filled with a vast amount of content and features that strive to make the experience easy to enjoy for all sorts of audiences.

So they decided to nerf the rewards from their events, essentially it is not worth supporting them by using real money to progress nor is it worth your time to progress manually. There's not really much else to say at this point, the game has potential but there are some VERY obvious flaws, such as the matchmaking system and upgrade system they have. They also do not know how to balance their sniper rifles, granting one of them permanent stunlock capabilities while also being only marginally weaker than other bolt actions who do not have that ability.

As of the current iteration of this review, 09/09/20204 they have not yet removed their expired packs for the previous season, meaning there is currently about $70 of virtual content that will not activate up for purchase. The season ended last week.

Since last update the main menu has turned into a powerpoint presentation on my native resolution of 5120x1440

removed support for ultrawide a while back, still hasn't added it back 4 months later. for an instance based, pve focused game, this is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move

It is a pretty fun game but they're still focused on their increasingly expensive DLC.
Enjoy spawning next to another team, getting spam shot by a silenced pistol, which makes NO SOUND AT ALL EVEN WITHIN 20 METERS, from a bush where someone can magically see you just fine but they can't be seen at all.9

82 USD for a game that doesn't even launch? No wonder the reviews are so bad.
